Does Anyone Know How the Mars Hydro Warranty Works?

Hello everyone I just purchased a @MarsHydrofactory light from this ebay seller (FC-E6500), which indicates that they ARE the actual factory and has good reviews.

The light seems fine other than a few small cosmetic scratches from shipping, but I wanted to be sure it is covered since UPS dropped off a box that had a hole in it and a nice long gash with holes. Don't need warranty coverage - just want make sure it exists - because there is no warranty registration/card and the ebay seller did not send any formal receipt for purchase.

I'm still in the return window, so trying to find out about this before that window closes and I still have paypal protection. Thanks for your time.

Edit : also I think the warranty is only for manufacture defect if it malfunctions not for scratches, at least I don’t think but once u hang it u will never see the scratch’s the light is too bright to look at lol so unless it don’t work I wouldn’t worry about it

Received my Mars-Hydro ts1000 damaged

Hello fellow rollitup members. Yesterday I received my ts1000 and when I opened the box I noticed the driver was disconnected. Upon further inspection I noticed 5 screws ,and one of the black nuts that hold the driver in place loose in the box. The 5 screws are out of the light itself. One of...

Thanks man or woman! So yeah...pay less, get less. Maybe I should go Photontek or HLG next time. Price + removable driver sucked me into the brand. China based companies are pretty much the same. Have a good weekend (almost!).

Mars hydro lights come with the drivers disconnected so you can choose to put them outside of the tent or where ever you want in reach. At least everything I've seen and read.

Yeah sorry, misspelled "sucked". I meant, one of the main reasons I bought it over an HLG refurb was the detachable driver. Next light that's close in my opinion is the Photontek, and that's +$200 more. So I went with what I know is a Chinese brand, and so you get that kind of customer service. Light is really nice and ridiculously bright though.

Next time I'll try Photontek or HLG though. Who knows what'll develop in the next few years with legalization spreading. Some neat stuff likely.
