Does at&t sell your phone numbers???

I have at&t and i get all these bs text messages and phone calls all day.Seems like they give my number out to everybody.And its also not just me its everybody on my plain.Does this happen to anybody else?

hmm not me but i wouldnt put it past them. im usually just rude to 1800 numbers and such so i suggest you do the same, "no im not interested, take me off what ever list you are using and dont call back"

yep.....every fukn day....i get a call from 201-471-9853 and all it is is a fuckn reording tryin to sell me gift cards and shit

If your number is unlisted, most come from those who had the number already, likely from the last person(s) who had the number. Then there are the ones who automatically just call numbers, just like the spam emails who just try all kinds of email addresses Also make sure you are on the National Do Not Call registry.

did you use your phone number online for anything? Recently I'm getting calls from a texas number, looking the number up online its some scam where they get you to go to some website and install something. I just answer and hangup on them. If they phone again I'm going to tell them off after they say their first word. Just straight up profanities and racist slurs

i never use my number or anything ands its all 3 of us on a plain together and all 3 of us get bs text saying reply stop to discontinue charges like wtf.i have a feeling if i reply they get money for me texting them.

well it kinda sucks but you might wanna change your numbers. They could just be phishing numbers, or hell maybe AT&T got exploited and their numbers were all taken, its quite possible. Maybe someone on the inside is selling numbers.

No, they take prefixes (first 3 numbers) then just use all possible combinations for the last four
