Does Cal/mg help bud thickness and high trichome output?

Lol. It will if your plant requires either more calcium or magnesium. Cal/mag is a supplement for when your plants need more of either, when you're normal nutes aren't providing enough.

Molasses is good for feeding microbacteria. I'm not huge on outdoor or organics, but I know calcium will help with stronger stalk and branches, like bones for humans. I add a little cal/mag to all of my ladies, I add more if they ask. I've seen an increase in sturdiness.

It does in the sense that, if your plants are lacking in Cal or Mag, they will not grow to their full potential. If your plants are lacking in any nutrients it will affect the final product.
