does cardboard keep in heat?

hello . well 2 out of 4 of my walls are made from carboard. I used it becuase it holds my fans perfectly and is adaptable. But im getting crazy heating issue.
For 1) i live down south but im still wondering is 2 walls of carboard really gonna do anything? Its the left wall with all the fans and the very top

get rid of the box unless you looking for mold and fire

and i hope you have more lights then what are in the pic that wont be enough to grow one plant and get a yield worth the time

i got 3X 20 watt and 2X 40w. I just added the 2X 40ws. but making the heat raise

is the box open in the front if so just blow your fan right on the light i run 340 actuall watts on one plant ive found any less that that is a waste of time

welll yes its open. i wanted to close it (closet) but its just to hot. I could use a fan straight on but i think it will knock my babies over. Im waiting for maybe another week or two.

well dont blow it rite on them only the light if you got a small fan if no buy a lil 6 inch cip fan just for the lights can find cheap ones online for like 5 bucks they work great for cooling the lights

and cardbord does hold heat dont know about yours cuz its not sealed but have you ever orderd a pizza they come in a box for a reason its to keep it warm

cool cool. Im gonna try a 1 gallon jog of water. I put it in the freezer. it should be ice in few hours. I hope that helps a little

Cardboard seems like a good insulator, but its not really, it conducts heat pretty well over time. Bigger worry I think is the same as someone mentioned - fecking fire hazard. Hot lights + cardboard = not worth the fecking risk tbh mate. I found some stuff in B&Q the other day that was cheap as fook, it was that thermal insulating panels designed for use between walls. £5 for a big sheet of it. When I get settled and create a proper style growroom, I plan on lining my walls with that, with silver tape over the joins. Obviously thats no use if growing in a tent etc. But I'm monged at the moment, must be sativa dom as I can't seem to stfu, lol

well i get payed friday. ill go buy some more wood . thx for info. right now its just the very top one cardboard, and the one holding the fans. I hope itll make another week
