With proper permits and permission, I don't see why not. Since people obviously feel the need for these religious structures, it would be refreshing to see more diversity than these boring, cookie-cutter churches offer...

according to todays understanding of freedom of religion I would say yes of course... but when it was first written I say no way would they have allowed that to happen...in those days freedom of religion meant to be for christians that had different beliefs

Dumb fuck. Dumb fuck. Dumb fuck.

Nothing really captures your idiocy like the phrase 'Dumb fuck' Yes, you wear it well.
:) appears you are too ignorant to get my meaning.

Many religious radicals claim their beliefs justify flying planes into towers and killing infidels or persecuting homosexuals...

Religion can be used for good or bad, double edged sword.

So from that line of thinking whats good for the goose is good for the gander.

What stops a radical christian from taking our a mosque?

Well, there weren't many Muslims in early america, but Jews have been here for a long time and we allowed them to build their synagogues.

I would say at any point since the ratification of the constitution that a mosque would have been allowed. In the very early colonial days when the puritans and the like were running the place, I doubt it.

Wait, what?

The first mosque was built in 1929. Until 9/11 and the fear mongering that followed, no one knew these people were here. There have been hundreds of terrorist attacks in the US, the majority were religious extremists, Christian
