does honey work for cloning?

i tried to find a good article with a simple answer but cant find a whole lot.

ive had success with using just water to get clones to sprout but i always use clonex just to play it safe
has anyone personally used or use honey to help root clones? my entire grow is organic would be nice
if honey worked

i wonder if black strap molasses would work too... its thick but almost the same consistency

what gives you reason to think honey would work at all?

also why would this be better for an organic grow? you said water works for you and im pretty sure it would keep your grow 'organic'

you can clone with honey just dont expect very much of any roots like when you use clonex or some other cloning gel
