Does HPS/MH have different bulbs for flowering like CFLs do?

You know how you have to use 2 different bulbs with CFLs for veg and flower. Is this the same for HPS and MH?

MH is for vegging - like CFL 4600's
HPS is for flowering - like the 2700's

Get a lumatek or switchable magnetic ballast and use hps or mh bulb as needed.

Magnetic ballasts arent switchable, you would need a conversion bulb. Lumatek does make a pretty nice digital/dimmable ballast that is switchable tho, its what I use. MH for veg and HPS for flower, some people just run HPS thoughout the entire grow but you will have a taller, lankier plant.

Ahhh gotcha, I see! HPS = flower MH = Veg

Not really, they do make some full spectrum mh .
3k , 4k. use them from start to finish.
