DOG Kush LED Grow Journal

My DOGs grew faster too. I found that they liked higher temps under the LEDs. Normally if it got into the upper 70s/low 80s my plants would slow down but these guys always explode when it gets warmer in the tent for a few days.

As for muffins ill be breakin the chamber in soon. Probably a week or so. Hopefully less!

Im hopin to get a Nuwave2 induction cooktop before then as well. Set it at 100 and rip a full vac. Wait 2-4-6 hours depending on the size of the slab, pull the vac back up, lock it for 2-4-6 hours. Ill probably be droppin the vac a little more often to make sure the temps of the induction cooker are on point which they should be.

Might do a video for it. Possibly.

Next step closed loop!!!

Well here they are with the screen holding

them up and spreading them out a little more

Day 18 of flower was yesterday

Nice shot of the mainlined/lollipopped underside

DOG tops shootin through the screen

Now onto the pitiful clones. Got busy and they were in the dome for over 2 weeks! way longer than ever needed so they suffered and you can barely see them haha.

I had to throw the AC in yesterday. We were gettin some 80+ days and temps in the room were gettin too high for my liking. Shit 80s too high for my liking but i manage.

Well the AC is in and this just goes to show you how much less heat these LEDs generate. I have almost 1000w of LEDs in here compared to the 1000w of hps/cmh lighting i had previously.

Normally i have to put my AC in by march depending on the weather. Recently ive had to put it in in February since its been gettin warmer earlier in the season. Its the middle of may and i can say for certain that if i had my old set up i would have put the AC in at least 2 months ago and had to run it the whole time.

Ill see if i can find last years electric bills and try to do a comparison on price.

Hopefully ill be able to take the AC out early too! My usual time, depending on the weather of course, is late october to early november. So hopefully by mid to late september ill be able to take it out.

Alright were 30 days into flower and theyve just stopped stretching luckily with only a few inches left on my hangers.

Cant wait to see them start to stack again. Probably gonna have to raise the screen up a lil bit because i cant get back there to put another screen in.

Clones first:

Now the flower room:

One of the tops of the seed DOG. Frosty as fuck but of course thats the only clone that didnt live.

Might have to do a REVEG project on that one if its as nice as it looks. Pretty stretchy but its nice.

2/3 of these plants are stretchy.

Video update soon!

Yeah i was pleasantly surprised when i didnt find more than 2 seeds in the whole harvest. Dont doubt there were a few more in there i missed or that a friend got but either way i was worried for a second and now am calm about it.

I have 4 phenos and theyre all pretty different.

1 is short, frosty, and stacked. it yielded really well and barely stretched. Fat indica leaves

1 is medium, ok frost, not so good yield, stretchy fat leaves but not as fat as the short one.

2 are tall. The seed is tall as well and would fit into the same group as the other 2 phenos.

1 is stretchy and moderately frosty but doesnt yield too well.

1 of the tall ones is stretchy as fuck but frosty and stacked as can be. this one and the short one are my 2 keepers as of now

The seed is a taller one and looks very very frosty but of course she looks like shell yield the least of them all.

Ill have some shots up in a few. The screen is really lookin good and because of that and a few other things were getting new veg and flower tents. Either a 5x5 or a 4x8 or potentially 5x10 for the flower and a 4x4 for the veg.

Gonna be movin all 3 panels into the flower room which will most likely be a 5x5 and then get 2 flouro sets for the veg. Heat should be minimal as well and ive never grown with flouros in veg and always wanted to. Ive done cfl cab grows but never veged with t5/8s

One of the reasons we need tents, besides that ours are gettin old and beat up and we need more room, is that we want ones with the side access ports so we can have better screen management. I really want to throw up another screen in there now but since its so thick and i cant move anything out of the way i cant do it. Luckily i can raise it up slightly.

All my clones except for the seed clone lived. Even the strugglin extra of #4 which isnt either of the keepers. #5s on the far left those are the tall keepers. Back middle is #1 which is the nice short one.

Wide shot of all the DOGs in flower.

Level shot to see all the nugs

Very nice shot of the seed plant.
