Well I do not believe in Jesus.... I am an agnostic and I don't care what Jesus would do or would not do.
I would not waterboard my plants because they have not attacked or threatened me or my country!

Grow, we are specifically discussing waterboarding....waterboarding is not lethal...med says that he suspects that we have overdone it with some which resulted in their demise. I simply requested that he supply some evidence that waterboarding has ever been fatal.

Yeah and the proof you have of people being waterboarded are a threat is what? The people who lied to you before told you so? And you accept it? Who in Iraq threaten "me or my country"?

I don't see any reports on waterboarding being fatal, but that could be it's been covered up. I know the red cross and amesity international have reported deaths of detainees at the hands of US operatives ... we have no way of knowing what method used was the cause of death since they will not allow these organization complete access to prisoners.

It doesn't matter whether or not it's fatal ... the fact remains it's illegal ...:roll:

Are you fucking insane? To even ask such a question shows your lack of intelligence. I don't think anyone on this forum would condone the torture or death of any American at the hands of our "enemies". But conversly, we, being the high handed dudley-do-rights, should not engage in these terror tactics either. It is a matter of conscience, and torture has proven to be a very unreliable source of info.

I guess i'm missing the rationality of this reaction...

A: "I don't like the fact that we torture people."
B: "So it's okay when the terrorists torture our soldiers!?!"

What the hell does that have to do with anything? Med is right. You're simply way-off base. I suppose that's what happens when tv news becomes propaganda...

Just a simple question.

It also occurs to me that many people who post in this forum are under the idea that they would rather us lose this war then be proven wrong. It occurs to me that a stable Iraq, would just burn the shit out of a lot of people to the point of them hoping if not praying we lose. Even to the point of using the number of dead soldiers as a personal scoreboard to help their cause and not because they give half a rats ass whether our soldiers live or die. If throwing an Iraqi on a waterboard garners information that helps, saves, or allows our troops to make gains I am all for it. Flame on, your opinions are boring, tired, and repetitive.

Ah, one of those "this was a good idea" guys...

I suppose if you think the current situation has been worth $8000 of your future toiling and this pipe-dream finish is worth the long-term financial stability of the country, then I suppose we could continue... stagnating. I know, I know, we're improving (as the graphs of the deaths we never counted before show there is less violence than when we weren't counting), but the fact is that so many people have died through "ethnic cleansing" (which we have encouraged by arming sunni and shia) that there's no one left to shoot. Go ahead and flaunt your statistics and graphs while denying the real total of civilians that have been murdered by this fiasco.

Enough of this nonsense: let the warmongers pay for the next five years... The sane people can't afford it anymore. If you can't give me a timeline, I can't call it anything but an indefinite waste of time and treasure.

Was always first with the news and was always right, was the most handsome, had the best car in high school, the best looking girlfriend, and got layed more than you.
