It looks like things are starting to come to a head for Trump, between court in NY and the insurrection investigation, not to mention the Georgia election shenanigans. First they charge the Trump organization, then go after the conspiracy and individual crimes by the executives, pressuring each one down the food chain to flip on Donald and others.

Fake property evaluations and pressuring officials to 'find' votes: All the evidence piling up in the criminal probes of Trump

  • Investigations into Donald Trump's finances and conduct in office may soon result in criminal charges.
  • New York prosecutors are investigating his taxes, and Georgia prosecutors his election influence.
  • Trump also faces legal risks from the January 6 Capitol riot and Rudy Giuliani's Ukraine meddling.
Criminal probes into former President Donald Trump are heating up. The signs are everywhere.

Manhattan District Attorney Cyrus Vance Jr. empaneled a grand jury that will reportedly be used for an investigation into whether Trump fudged his personal and company finances. Charges could come as soon as Monday, according to the Washington Post.

The office of New York Attorney General Letitia James recently said its own investigation is now criminal in nature, and that it's joining forces with Vance.

Prosecutors from New York to Georgia are scrutinizing Trump's conduct before he took office, as well as actions he took as president.

Trump reportedly faces two more grand jury investigations into whether he illegally pressured Georgia officials to rig the 2020 election results.

In addition, criminal investigations are underway into the insurrection at the US Capitol and Rudy Giuliani's efforts in Ukraine to dig up dirt on Trump's 2020 presidential election rival, Joe Biden. Both present potential legal risks for Trump, although there's no evidence those prosecutors are currently targeting him.

Trump has dismissed all allegations against him - in the criminal probes as well as a litany of civil ones - as politically motivated.

Here's a rundown of the evidence that's been made public in each case so far, as well as clues to where the prosecution is headed.

I wonder what indictments will mean for Donald's road show as he tries to drum up cash from his base of suckers. Whatever banks he's dealing with might call his loans and none will deal with him, he's gonna be desperate for cash and has mounting legal bills. It would seem the Trump org is on the hook for the legal defense of it's executives, including the ones who are secretly squealing in front of the grand jury in NY, that must burn Donald's ass. I figure Donald's super spreader rallies will be about witch hunts and his legal problems and less about stop the steal as time goes on.

Monday has come and gone, indictments for the Trump org before Friday I should think.
i didn't know defense gets to go in on a criminal case and meet with prosecution to explain away the charges complete with PowerPoint presentation TWICE! they give them two chances before the hammer comes?

sounds like they're saying 'if you have a country to go to now would be the time'.

It seems that meeting with company lawyers before bringing up charges are normal. That is only against the company. Then thy will have leverage over Weisselberg and his kids. No need to leave yet.

NY DA Trump Org Indictment Watch - First Criminal Indictment Expected Soon. Won't likely be the Last

An alarming headline in Politico indicated that Trump's lawyers are saying New York District Attorney Cy Vance won't indict Donald Trump. However, Trump's lawyers then qualified their claim by saying that DA Vance told them Trump won't be indicted in the FIRST indictment expected to be handed down by the grand jury, but that the criminal investigation in ongoing.

When prosecutors investigate large RICO/conspiracy/criminal organization cases, they almost always start with relatively modest indictments designed to leverage cooperation from the smaller fish. Prosecutors then build the case toward the larger criminal fish with a series of what are called superseding indictments. So do not expect to see Donald Trump indicted in the early rounds of NY indictments.

This video presents an overview of the typical prosecutorial blueprint for investigating and indicting cases against corrupt organizations.

The things is, he wasn't giving them what they want. His presidency was grumblings/inferences/suggestions of a white christian america, wanting to get rid of dems, liberals, gays, browns, etc., with Jan. 6th being the pinnacle of expressing their true desires and how far they're willing to go to get it. They don't want to go back to grumbling, they want what comes next after Jan. 6th. The want their hitler, and he didn't deliver.
