Trump asks if Rand Paul has 'learned lesson' on endorsements
Trump’s candidate of choice, coal industry lobbyist Mike Carey, won that primary on Tuesday, all but assuring that he’ll go on to succeed former Rep. Steve Stivers (R-Ohio), who stepped down earlier this year to lead the Ohio Chamber of Commerce.

Paul, meanwhile, had thrown his support behind former Ohio state Rep. Ron Hood in the Ohio primary, putting himself at odds with Trump. A political action committee aligned with Paul spent heavily in support of Hood — an investment that didn’t go unnoticed by Trump.

Hood placed third in the Tuesday primary, falling more than 20 points short of Carey.

“Do you think Rand Paul will apologize for spending nearly $1 Million on another candidate in Ohio's 15th District congressional race after I had already endorsed Mike Carey?” Trump said in a statement. “In any event, Mike went on to an unprecedented victory, more than doubling the second placed finisher and Rand's candidate came in a distant third out of eleven.”

His remarks on Paul on Thursday suggest that he’s willing to go after even his allies when it comes to his post-presidential influence in Republican politics.

“Rand is a different kind of guy, but I like him a lot anyway, and I'm proud to have endorsed him when when he ran,” he said. “Do you think he learned his lesson?”

"You are all my employees now, shut up unless you will behave like a sycophantic moron that I think you all are."
Let's see if Rand will dance and howl for him on the courthouse steps in NY city. Most elected republicans want Trump gone far more than the democrats do, the democrats are starting to see the advantages of Trump running around loose taking a knife to the GOP, at least for a spell. He needs to lead them further to the edge, wait until they indict him and others in the Trump Org, then you'll see crazy and desperate as Trump panics.

Not even close, Donald can't perceive or discounts the future, until it's right on top of him and there is no distracting or running away. When he's indicted or his kids are and the noose is tightening with lawyers explaining consequences daily, then you'll see the real fireworks. Donald needs to maintain his strangle hold on the republican party and will only spend money to primary GOP members into obedience, like recently.

All the cash that Donald is raising is going to his legal and other living expenses and also being transferred to his business to keep the blackhole from collapsing. Every dime Trump takes from the rubes in the base means one less spent by the republicans on the house election in 2022. Keep pouring the heat on corporate and big donors about the big lie and the GOP senate will be screwed financially too. Use any means to defeat or keep these bastards out of power, win big enough and anything will be possible, including laws and reforms that will lead to their extermination as a political force nationally.

the democrats are starting to see the advantages of Trump running around loose taking a knife to the GOP,
Politics is so fucking repulsive.
So to paraphrase the quote, Dems feel that "Trump is destroying our democracy and endangering the very existence of the USA....BUT he's making it easier for me to be re-elected and preside over the wreckage, so I'm glad he's here."

He's destroying the republican party and they are as much of a threat to democracy and the constitution, politics is an extension of war in this case, both are repulsive. The courts and justice system are gonna deal with Trump, not the democrats, they are dealing with the cards they were given. The wreckage is being cleared and the answers and accountability are coming, the DOJ doesn't want to get ahead of the 1/6 committee investigation and report. Everyday Biden does his best to try and save American lives and deal with the delta variant. With a couple of notable exceptions in the senate, the democrats are doing all they can to right the wrongs and ship of state.

I would like to ask a question.

Do people actually believe that the democratic party didn't cheat and Joe Biden actually won the election?

or

Do they know the democratic party did cheat, yet, just don't care, because Trump is out of the white house?

I'm just trying to gauge, the intelligence level, of people posting on this thread. People come here to learn grow techniques, from intelligent, experienced growers. Wouldn't want them taking advise, from individuals that may be braindead.

^^ Translation: "Democrats, who we repeatedly say are stupid, stole the 2020 election in a massive conspiracy that was so broad and so effective it they left no evidence but the Republican congressmen who won in the same election did so fairly"

lying internet trolls are so 2020.

And that is a valid view since Trump molded the Right into what it is today and if Trump even sits it out there will be another person take his place playing the Republican base as if politics is a Jerry Springer Show.

Garland probably won't indict any of the political actors in the 1/6 insurrection or the other attempts Trump made to stage a coup until the 1/6 committee has completed it's work or issued an interim report and most likely refers charges to the DOJ. This will give the DOJ cover for going after political players in the insurrection because they will be acting on the commission's, report and referrals.

Meanwhile NY will take care of Trump, muzzle and imprison him for life. If the feds act against him, they will wait until NY has him locked up and muzzled. They will most likely act against Trump for the insurrection and/or coup attempt and for various criminal conspiracies with others they wish to sweep up. It will be the same for the IRS, NY will uncover Trump's tax and financial crimes for them and make their case in court, if he owed state income taxes, he most likely owed more federal taxes.

Then there are the lawsuits and there will be more to come, not to mention the Trump org going bust, or having its assets seized by the feds for taxes, money laundering etc. 2021 is gonna be a very bad year for Trump, it will be the year his luck runs out and the law catches up and when it does, justice will be making up for lost time.

Y'all are acting like Trump created bigotry and hatred and corruption and that before he came along the republicans were inclusive and not in the pocket of big business.

Trump didn't create the massive division in the USA, he just encouraged it and used it to his advantage. His presence or absence will not change the basic issues in a deeply polarized society.
