If you are starving in America someone is not getting the food stamps. $32k is about the break point in reality for poverty as that is where the government handouts stop usually, depends on how much property you own in my state, not necessarily your income.

Ever been on food stamps? I was for about three years. I had a hard time spending all the money. $200 a month back then, good thing you got to roll over the unspent funds so I could splurge on Porterhouse..

I have three boys but not at the time I was getting food stamps; single then as they were living with their mother.. If I had kids the money would have been much more.
