Here is advice from someone who made the mistake.

Don't use body insect repellent on your plants or anywhere near them. Be careful what you use, unlike me, don't take the gamble of hoping it should do no harm to your plants.

Loads of leaves started to go brown and one plant has almost completely wilted, I'll take pictures later on today to show you.

At least it got rid of the insects.

I read a post and I tried it........seems to work too

take some tabacco let it ferment in water, remove tabacco and mix some dishsoap in with the water in a vaporizer and spray your plants...

This did no harm to my plants !!!

I am sorry you had to experience that. Always remember that even sprays that have been tried on marijuana plants successfully are still considered phytotoxic. Spraying for means of controlling pests or diseases should be a last resort. Research into predatory means or regulating factors like temperature or humidity.

Here they are, today I replanted them all in new compost and one into it's final pot, then watered them carefully with a tiny amount of plant food.

Hopefully they will survive.
