Double checking my bridgelux setup

First time posting on this forum and first time building my own grow light. Setting up a new 4x4 tent and the lighting options out there had so many variables, after reading through all the builds on this forum, I decided to build my own and just have exactly what I want. So here’s the parts I have :
18 - BXEB-L0560Z-3500k gen1
9- 46” pacific lighting group heat sinks
Random aluminum to make the frame

now my question lies in the driver. Contemplating whether to get hlg-480h-24a, and run all the strips in parallel. Or I can get the hlg-480h-48a and run 2 strips in series and 9 parallel circuits. I prefer the 48a just because it will have less wiring for a cleaner build. Here’s a picture of what I’m thinking the wiring will look like. Let me know if I’m screwed up please.

You're good on all fronts. Also, the 48 will be a smarter move for future use if you ever want to re utilize it, you'll have more options, as you've already displayed on this first build here by 2 in series to get that needed voltage. Far more options with the 48 than the 24 as voltage can be doubled, but certainly not halved.

Looks like fun. It was recommended to me, when I built my strip lights, to reduce the distance between each strip by a factor of 0.75 starting from the center. So the strips get closer together as you move toward the edge of the tent. This evens out the light intensity due to overlap, strip to strip which is highest in the center.

That’s a great idea, thanks for the heads up

Can someone steer me in the right direction? All wired up but no light! I must have mis-wired something.... 18 EB strips, 9 parallel circuits. HLG 480-48 driver... plug it into the wall and it only goes to 24 watts. I’m not the best electrician and maybe I’m missing something

Have you wired plus to plus? Looks like it but cant see in the pics

I splurged a little on the pacific lighting concepts heat sinks.... could’ve saved more with some normal aluminum. I’ve got some 80/20 coming next week so I can adjust the spread easier than that aluminum u channel. Just some shit I had in the garage

Very cool. Didn't know the PLC sinks were channeled like that. They look really nice.
