My leaves at the top of my plants are curling under/as in opposite of cupping. No other signs. If the rooom got too hot, might that cause this? Thanks. (no pics)

Calibrate your PH meter and change out your reservoir.

What is your setup? How many lights and what kind of ventilation do you have?

Thanks guys. I have one 1000 hps for every 2.4 plants. I have air from the outside coming in at one end of the room and exhausting out the other without any filters. Plus I have a 3 fan chiller cooling the room but my pump for the chiller got plugged with debris so the room got up to 90 for a few hours. I will re-calibrate. Thanks again.

My room is running at about 92 degrees and the plants seem to love it. Like ocean said, most likely a problem with your solution. Whenever I see weird growth I change out the reservoir and re-calibrate my meters. When treating for nutrient deficiencies, just treat for everything by giving them fresh nutes.

yep, it depends what nutes you use, how big the rez is and the method you use.

being able to control PH is well is key.

some nutes can have all elements taken in by the plant with the ph range- 5.2-6.2

others require you to set at 5.2 and you must let it swing to 6.0, before readjusting. usually this take anywhere between 2 days. each time you use ph down it can take longer for the swing to happen. However, because the you need to TOP OFF with tap watter 6.5+ ph water. it will help with the swing to 6.0 bit by bit, so you can get it to swing to the 6.0 marker..

there are a few methods on how to keep good control of your rez, find the one you like and master it, so you dont have any issues.

again the method is different.

DWC, NFT, should be done in the method i explained above, however, its also important to keep rez temps low in the 65 range.

however with ebb and flow, the temp is not as big a factor as with the other 2 mentioned methods, you can get away with a little more.

good luck

i have to question what you said about nutes and ph. i have not heard of certain nutes that can all be uptaken by plant at all ph in that range. it is the individual elements in the nutes that ph affects. some elements can be taken at low ph some mid, some high. the ph is what will cause certain elements to be picked up while some are locked out. that is why they say 5.8, it is the point where the plant can get all of the elements it needs. the reason i have different ph ranges for different stages is plants need more of certain elements at different stages.

yes what i meant to say was set at 5.8 instead of the swing will not cause as many issues as other nutes.. some nutes are better adjusted for that. i can go into setails if you like.

botanicare is one of those
