Down under LED grow

Glad to hear mate, that's a good sign you are giving them what they want! I have found with LED that you need a bit of extra cal/mag in their feed as the light seems to make them eat more of it. Unsure if its the specialised spectrum of light or what but it's been my experience.

Hey guys, quick question. It's time to transplant my little girls but they are also due for a feed so my question is do I pull them from the pots and then water/feed or do I water let it sit for a day then do it?

I'll post more photos tomorrow they are growing at a rapid rate

I transplanted all the little girls into their new 30ltr pots today and all went well except one : ( the barneys farm lsd Roots almost broke in half and feel apart a little bit because it was stuck to the bottom of the pot so I gently put it back together and planted and fed her so hopefully all goes well

Sorry buddy, for some reason my notifications aren't working so hadn't realised you posted! Looks like you sorted them out though which is good. You answered your own question, you can transplant and then water no probs! They look good mate, keep up the good work!!

No worries mate, yeah I did a bit haha. They are loving their new homes and starting to really bush out running out of time for the LEDs To get here haha

Yeah i did man, ordered it Wednesday and they posted Thursday according to eBay. Really good vendor posted almost instantly and fast communicator. I'll give the 400 A shot and if it's good ill get 2 900s and I want to look at getting the bigger version of what you have aswel for my next grow.

Haha thats what im Hoping for haha. How much woild you recommend per plant? I knowe what they say but I'm not listening to them haha

Depends how many plants you want and how much room you have. A 400w usually does 2 medium plants or 4 smaller plants. If you're looking at having 2600w, that would do maybe 8-10 large plants that could get you 1.5- 2lb if you dial in your lights (right height) and don't have issues with heat and feeding.

I love LEDs Haha, my tents 2.4x2.4 and I want to run 4 monsters. I was thiking maybe 600w a plant or is that to much?

Nah man, that would work well actually. If you scrogged them and kept the canopy even, you'd go pretty close to the 2lb mark with maybe a 4-6 week veg!

That would be brilliant, im In 4th week of veg now and I really want to go to 6 weeks and get them massive before I flip them

6 weeks should work well. How big are they now? The longer you veg, the bigger they'll get. Post up a pic and I can give you a better estimate.

These two are the biggest the other one is about half an inch smaller and the last one is still squat

Are they in 50L pots? If so, another 2 weeks and they'll be good to go I reckon!!

Thanks man, I'm really impressed with how they are going. Nah only 30s I was going to go 50s but I didnt have the space. I was thinking 2 weeks and they will be massive, im hoping they stretch about 40-60% once I flip them to 12/12 and they get under the LEDs

Whatever you are doing, keep doing it
Ah ok, the smaller pot size will limit the overall yield but 30L can still produce good yields. They will stretch at least 40%...some can double, almost triple in size, depending on strain!
