Downgrade Lighting or Increase Ventilation

Tent is 1metre x 0.5metre with a 400hps and 5" cool tube.
4" tt fan in (airflow 130)
5" rvk fan out (airflow 230)
Temps high at 83c-90c canopy level

to reduce would you change to a 250hps with same ventilation or upgrade out fan to say a 6" with say 420 airflow, or other?
thanks!

You want to give your plant(s) as many lumens as you can, So i wouldnt downgrade your light unless you want airy popcorn sized buds. You should always try to buy the biggest intake and out take fans you can, And if there to powerful just throttle them back with a speed controller.

Just my input.

Some one I know has a 2x2x5 tent for peppers. Running a 400 watt hps open air reflector, with 4 inch inline exhaust and dual 4 inch passive intakes. Running at 77-81. Try doing your lights on at night when the temps are lower and put a window fan in the room to blow the cool air in the room.
