Dr. Greenthumb has a new strain he is releasing called "Sour 13". It is a cross between East Coast Sour Diesel and G-13.
Doc has been kind enough to let me journal this new cross. I am very excited, and grateful to the good doctor for this opportunity.
I am in the process of germinating some seeds by soaking them in water for eight hours and then placing them between moist paper-towels in an open Gladware container, which is then placed on a germination mat. I will keep updating as warranted with pictures, methods, and products used.
Here we go!!!

As of today, the last two of the five seeds that I germinated had taproots long enough to plant. They were planted in 6" x 6" x 6.5" square pots filled with very lightly compacted Fox Farm Happy Frog mix, along with the three that were planted yesterday.

nice porcipine. i just ordered some of these two days ago myself after dr gruber i think it was told me about them.. i'm growing some of the dr's dope and his og kush atm, and i have to admit that his og kush is looking out of this world and i'm super excited about it..
can't wait to get these sour 13's going as well. i'm sure its going to be some pure fire..
i was talking to the dr on the phone when i made my order for these, and he just told me to keep an eye out for the odd nanners late in flower as the ecsd has a tendency to go hermy late in life, and although he tried to work this quality out of the sour 13, he said there is still a possibility of the late life nanner, but he said its nothing to really worry about as if it does happen, it will only be like one or two nanners, and not the whole plant going hermi.. just thought that i would throw that out there for you if he didn't tell you already..
i'm subbed for this one for sure..

Here is a picture of the girls. I topped them (FIM'd)a few days ago and plan to transplant them this weekend. I am going to save the most vigorous one as a mother and put the other four into the flowering room in about a week. IMG_0116.jpg

Definately looks good.Im planning on getting thr pre 98 bubba kush the doc has but i just gotta convince myself to spend the cash.
Doc's is the Katsu Cut not the Pre 98. The Katsu yields better but is not much different otherwise. I've been running it for over five years and I can say I have not found anything that tops it yet!!!

nice! looks like you may have a slight issue with potassium deficiency starting though
Just curious, what makes you think that. They are getting plenty of Potassium. My Chemdawgs are burning from the nutrient levels they are getting but everything else seems to be doing fine with the nutes. I am asking for learning purposes, not to be argumentative.
