Drain to waste auto watering system pot size?

I grow in coco/perlite and have been hand watering the entire time. I’ve decided it’s time for an automatic watering system so Ill be buying some new pots. I’m thinking of getting the rocket pots.
The past few grows I was using 4 gallon pots and fertigating once a day. So I have 3 questions.
  1. What pot size is recommended for a coco perlite drain to waste on an auto watering system?
  2. How many times per day will they need to be watered?
  3. What type of pot do you use?
Anyone growing in coco perlite with a watering system please chime in.
Cheers

Rocket pots?
I've 1ltr through to 15ltr air pots, using 15ltr I fed only once a day 4x plants, I then started using 10ltr and feeding 2/3 times a day 4x plants, my last crop was in 6ltr air pots and feeding them 3/4 times a day in flower 8x plants.
The airpots are well worth the money imo, I wouldn't be without them, a 6 litre pot can yeild around a 1lb 234g to be exact (metric system) the average was about 120g.

Think the terminology is a little different here, this is what I mean by rocket pot. EE91626C-925E-4976-8DA8-B12BF4C2E9C2.jpeg
which method did you find gave you the best results? I just finished up a grow with 5x 15L pots and also watered once a day with pretty good results. Would you recommend watering more often in smaller pots over bigger pots watered less often?

I wasn't sure if you meant a fabric pot, but suspected it was air pots as I know them... I think they're great pieces of kit worth every penny.

The 3 maybe 4 heaviest crops I've had all come from 15ltr pots feeding once a day.
However between one crop to another there's to many variables to say that multiple feeds makes a difference or not, what I can say is both work well ime.

Have you ever looked at hempy buckets? Water to waste with #4 perlite. 3/4" hole drilled 2" from the bottom of the bucket. I water every other day. Except for Jager. Monster of a plant. Have to water her twice a day. No fun. Should harvest 1.5-2# off her alone though. I plan to upgrade to 10L buckets down the road. Less watering. Might be able to get away with once every 3 days.

Seaweed extract (floralicous plus) is some snarly shit. Like iodine. Stains the perlite and roots in the 2" res.

I've never given another system a thought tbh, over time I've fine tuned my own setup to make things easier/automatic.
It's fed with a timer then the run is collected so I only ever have to empty the run off.

Its simple but effective enough.

I use square 2-gallon pots. 4 plants in a 4x4

I also drill a couple of 1/4 holes in the sides of my pots for better root aeration:

Viparspectra par 1200 (550watt), 4 plants that I’ll veg for 5 weeks most likely in a 4x4 foot tent. I run 18/6 for veg.

4 plants in 2 gal pots will work fine for basic setup; you can go .5-1 gal pots if you want to feed more often. For reference I've pulled 9.5oz off a 5"pot(less then 1/2 gal) before and can pull 2lbs in a 4 gal pot regularly, but both are fed many times a day with the drip.
