Hey guys, right now i have a DWC system with 6 plants in it and 4 waiting to be inserted into it, waiting on the seedings to root. Im decently happy with the results.. but im interested in drip system.

I was wondering about how your setups operate were designed/assembled. Just need some inspiration. And also all the supplies you would expect to need to assemble a system.

And lastly, the number of plants that would be able to thrive on a 150 watt hps and 4, 24 watt cfl's. blue spectrum. In a 4 foot long, by 3 foot wide, by 4.5 feet tall cab.

any help is greatly appreciated. =D thks.

my drip is using

pump
inline filter
T-junction, connected to taps
tap 1 [which is connected to a hose when I need to empty the res, but usually closed]
tap2 [which is usually open, but closed when emptying res]
8 outlet manifold T, with an end stop.
connections between irrigation fittings made by 13mm LDPE pipe.
The 4mm delivery pipe comes from the manifold, and is connected to the drippers.
cost under 40 quid.

what medium are you planning to drip into?
I drip into coco, splashed out and bought a irrigation timer which makes it really easy to configure the timing down to the second, spent £60, but you could probably get one for much less.

drip, dwc and a 400w lamp sounds pretty fucking awesome, have fun!

yeah that sounds pretty sweet. I think im going to look into using 6 inch diameter PVC pipes and a res... u think that would be a successful route with a 400 watt hps?

im thinking get 3 3.5 foot long PVC pipes, and lay them next to each other. All using the single res and pump. with drip irrigation.

The thing i need help with is the drilling and placement of the drainage holes.
and also the tubing used to branch the water into seperate plants' net pots.

any nute wont work... i know theres a difference between soil and hydro nutes... and NPK values as well. right?

yeah nutes have npk values. i was saying any nutes meaning any brand nutes you high in nitrogen for vegg and high in phosphate and potassiumin flowering.
