Drip System Timing Question

I am setting up a drip hydroponic system and am confused as to how i should run my pump. I have read online people recommending to run the pump 3 times a day for 15 minutes each time, and then i have read other recommending running the pump 20 hours non-stop each day. Does anybody have a tried and true drip time method they can share with me?

you can run your drip cycle timing for as long as you want when the lights are on and you should be safe when the lights are off just turn it off, so u can keep it on a timer and you should be good to go.

To be honest, I dont have a lot of experience, I just started a hydro grow. It seems that I need to run it 24/7 otherwise the plants start to droop.

Since I'm only on week 2-3, In Veg stage, I have my lights on 24/7 so I don't really see turning off the water, which keeps the plants cool and hydrated.

I'm sure lots of people will have lots to say. But so far, I've been running the pumps 24/7. I tried to run them 3 times a day, for 1 hour, and I didn't find it was enough.

What are you using for a Media? I have small rockwool cubes, inside WaterFarm buckets full of medium sized Hydroton.

The roots are already coming out of the bottom and I have a small bubble stone in the buckets moving things around. So no matter if new water is bring dripped, the roots are IN the water already...

That's what I've got so far, mind you I have super fast growth, I have nute burn it seems on the lower leaves.

I am starting the plants rockwool cubes and then moving them into pots filled with hydroton clay pellets. As seedlings would it be safe to run the pump 24/7? I have an airstone for the reservoir but I still feel like it wouldn't allow enough oxygen for the roots when the plants are young and don't have much of a root mass.
