hey fellow tokers,

im having a drooping fan leaf problem with one of my three plants. i have been treating them similar and rotating them before the scrog.
they are one week into flower. im feeding them schultz plant food 10-15-10 with every watering. waterings are around every two days, once the soil dries out. temps are between 80 and 90 with co2 and constant air circulation.

could someone please help me figure out what is going on with these droopy fan leaves?

--thanks

How much are you watering them? I know you are watering every other day, but how much water are you actually using? You are either over watering them or you are under watering them.

You are probably good on the nutes. If it were the nutes, then they would be burned.

Also, try and keep those temps down to 75-85, no higher then 85.

thanks guys, i water them until the pots are heavy just before it drains or draining very little. i give them 7 drops of plant food per quart of water and they take the whole quart when watering

the heat is another problem, my space is very limited i have
1) 4" intake
1) 4" exhaust
4) small cpu fans and
1) 5" mounted fan
ambient room temp is 65 - 70

i was looking into those portable ac units but none are small enough for the space

btw, my other girls are thriving

That's probably the problem then. If you are watering that much every two days, then that is way too much. How big are the pots they are in? You are PHing your water right?

thanks GrnMan,

no im not PHing the water, and they are in 6" pots because i cant fit any larger pots

i do have a PH kit from my fish tank along with PHup and down could i use this on my plants?

Use ph down on them? Yes, you can use that. That's exactly what I use. I suggest you get something to test your PH and go from there. I'm surprised you made it this far without PHing your water. What kind of water are you using?

6" pots? That could also be another problem. If they have outgrown their pots, they will start to look like that.

GrnMan, i've been using filtered tap water.

i will start testing the water tonight though. and, i guess i'll need to find bigger pots that'll fit, it's a good thing the scrog didn't go too far.

thanks for being so helpful, i'll post my findings

If you have been using tap water, it probably has a PH of 7.2-8.5. Get your PH to like 6.2 or so. That's what I've been successful with.

Let the water sit out for 24 hours before applying to the plants. This will allow for chlorine and anything else bad for them to evaporate.

How old are they? How tall are they?

I've heard over night, 24 hours, 48 hours etc. Also hear a air pump and air stone makes it go faster.

This will only remove any gaseous bad (and good) items. Any bad solids will still remain. aka: if its hard water, it will still be hard water. (just less the chlorine)

On that note....

Used bottled water.

360/full circle. I don't trust the labels. Distilled water is made buy condensing the steam from boiled water. That condensation is done against a metal plate (copper or alum) so you will introduce salts into the water.

De-I is probably more precise in its specs. Its comes with a EC rating.

I haven't seen RO water specs.

Bottled water? Like poland springs? no telling whats in that crap.

water it every 2 days
Ph of 6ish
use distilled water
and only use organic fast release fertilizer
if you use slow release like little yellow pellets then it will stay in the bud as you smoke it.
dont water so much, just enough to wet like a thrid of the pot.
and if they're in a grow box open it when you can to give them some natural air.

you're going sweet otherwise
peace

I use fiji water, that's why I said that. I haven't had any problems with it yet.

thank you, i'll pass on the bottled water this time GrnMan i think my 4 stage filter does a great job removing the impurities. i watered on wednesday night and the soil is completely dry tonight they definitely need to be watered

PH is 6.9 and i have been letting the water sit for the day i don't water. i also have PHdown so i will use that to adjust it

they don't look root bound to me, what do you think? would it be worth transplanting again since they only have until july 21st? i think i should get the screen back on them.

thanks for the tip about the airpump bigbudballs i'll give that a try soon

alright, i need to water daily with half the volume i'm using from my 2 day schedule. i attribute this to the soil which is not holding holding onto the water. unfortunately, mg was the only thing i had available. next grow mg will not be involved as it's not designed for this application.

GrnMan i adjusted the PH gave them half the water i usually would, moved her, put the screen back and she's perking up already. your help is greatly appreciated :) :weed:
