LMAO..."Please at least admit the real posibily that your over lighting yat plant."
I think my opening statement clearly shows over lighting was the first thing I zoned in on. The photo I attached shows a 10" plant still in veg.
Dude, im sorry if ive come across as bitchy. I think youre first instinct is right, back of the light and best of luck.

RH about 40 Temp 75. I do not have anything increasing RH att. Humidifier is on the “list” lol.
Yeah that's definitely in the low zone, I would def get a humidifier especially since it looks like that one plant isnt taking up much space in the tent yet. A larger plant will help naturally raise the humidity, but I still think a humidifier bringing you up to the 55-60% range at minimum is what you wanna aim for in Veg.

Yesterday I moved my (FIRST PLANT (Newbie)) from a homemade grow box at approx. 500 PAR, to a grow tent under a new 300w LED grow light (PAR approx. 900). I also gave it plenty of water and nutrients. Within 4 hours of doing all the above, the leaves became droopy (see attached photo). I moved it today and started the 18/6 cycle with the 300w down to 500-600 PAR. What's your Opinion on the cause of the plant drooping?
I'd move that to a bigger pot, 5-7 gallon minimum (especially if your a first timer) you could get by with a 3 gallon, but you'd really have to know what your doing with a 3 gallon pot. (go 7 gallon if you can, or larger).

Interesting... I am upgrading its container, I am using a 5 gal. Why bigger for newbies (in general)

Thanks for your input!

Yeah, I actually found one I forgot I had, just cleaned it out. I have a programmable outlet, I'll have to run an 18-hour scheme or get a humidistat. After 8 hours the plant is reacting well after turning the LEDs down.

I went through that, come to find out that the plants couldn't keep up with the nuclear lighting. If I had some C02 supplementation and/or bigger pots, then they'd be able to keep up. (theoretically) and someone will chime in soon with a monster grow out of their one gallon pot soon. (but is it their first grow?) Back to the lighting, When I dimmed the lights a bit... plants just came alive. Look up DLI. Might help a bit, ot get you more confused! lol. Did to me, after some grows ..started making more sense. Good luck man.

it's more forgiving if and when we make our mistakes. And...more important, bigger roots, bigger flowers.

That will never dry out, needs perlite. I think your roots aren’t getting a chance to dry and thats where the droop is from.
I divide the mix into 2 portions, only used Verm in half (in this CC only 1 cup) , the pot soil has perlite and nutrients. 5 weeks hasn't been an issue until I put in tent and under new light. I backed-off lighting and seems to perked up pretty good. About 50% happier, LOL She'll move to a 5 gal bucket this week.
I'll have to look into my soil composition for that.

If your lady is a photoperiod, try 400- 500 par at 18 hours on for now. That's about a 32 DLI (Daily Light Integral) Better yet, your lightings manual has recommendations to go by as well, I bet it says to go 50% at 18-20 inches away.

Peat and vermiculite are a soggy combination. Vermiculite and perlite are totally different mediums, coarse perlite is like an air sponge where vermiculite retains water. You can never have too much perlite.

I had a similar issue when I first switched from HPS to LED. It wound up being less of an issue of light intensity and more about my VPD needs being completely different under LED than what had worked perfectly for me for years under HPS.

I would make sure that your environment and VPD are ideal first before tweaking any other parameters of the grow like moving the light, changing feed etc. The jump from 500 to 900 ppfd could be causing the issue, but I had the same issue with drooping plants under 500ppfd, and bringing the Temps and Humidity up (around 80F, 70rh) brought things around quite quickly after tearing my hair out for weeks thinking it was overfeeding/underfeeding, light burn, ph or root issues. My low humidity was causing transpiration issues that led to a calcium toxicity which brought on Magnesium and Potassium deficiency, and the first signs of problem was always the drooping.

All that said, 900 is a lot of light for that stage of growth, I would have that at about 4-500 max, get the VPD in range and watch them take off

I just invested in an AC infinity T4 (with Temp/Humid/VPD) for my tent. To get my VPD balanced I actually had to reduce heat, the ambient temp and insulation from the tent is enough to balance my VPD between .9 and 1.1.

Thanks for your reply!!!
