droopy times

hello, i switched my 400w hps over to 12/12 a couple of nights ago.. one of my plants has gone all droopy since the lighting change. any ideas?

temps are around 80 with the light on, and she sits with her tops around 5" from the light. she's in a square pot, unsure of exact measurements but i guess around 3gals... fan blowing on them constantly. any ideas anyone??

havent switched to flowering nutes yet either, keeping on the veg for a few more days..

any and all feedback very welcome, ill put a pic up later today when ive recovered

Is that an air cooled light with a sheild, otherwise...that's too close.

cheers vm, no its not aircooled, i thought it might be a bit close but doesnt really seem to of been bothering her. i guess i shall have to clear the space out today and get her away, ive noticed the soil does seem to get purty dry up there tooo.. ill post pics before and after, just need to smoke some motivation first

Could it be over watering ? Due to you turning the lights bk to 12/12 from 18/6 - 24/7 w/e the loss in heat would mean less Evaporation going on and haveing to water less ?

good point bb, somethin to keep in mind. my last grow resulted in a corpse and a male, so im determined not to let this one escape me. havent had a harvest since january!

clone while you have a female

no time for clones im afraid. im leavin this house whenever the harvest is up, then im gonna have to cfl-stealth my way through a while living at my parents house. dont know when ill next be able to have a hps grow...

just checked on the droopy one. earlier when i noticed the severe droop, i gave it about a litre of straight distilled water and put more soil mix in the top of the pot (saw a couple of big roots exposed).
seems to of made a difference, all leaves are up and basking in that glorious light.

ideally, id like to wait till i can see sex before lowering the plants as its going to be a real pain in the neck. my other has been lsted so is obviously not as tall as this droopy bitch, but my suspicions tell me its a female, where as im not so sure about this one... maybe ill wait a day or two..
