dryin and curings help!!!!!!!!

so im about to harvest my first plant and i need help on how to dry and cure it. wheres a good place to dry in an apartment. and how long do u dry it for before you start to cure .what are the curing steps ?

any place thats dark and not too moist, you can go pick up a cardboard box, cut some holes in it run strings on the top, and hang them in the box with a fan blowing above it.. after 5 - 7 days (or when the bud is dry but the stem is still slightly bendy) put it in mason jars in a dark place.. read fdds post at https://www.rollitup.org/harvesting-curing/28072-harvest-time-tutorial.html

cool thanks man what about harvesting when is a good time to do it ? is there ne other way of telling without using the mayginfie glass i know when about 70 to80 percent of the hairs are red but is ther ne other way
