Drying and curing

Hey all ok so ive harvested my first ever grow. I have the bud drying in a hanging net inside a tent. I have a small fan and a heat Matt in there to help keep temperature stable.

But my buds just don’t seem to be drying out? Any reason thanks

How long has it been? What's temp and RH?

Temperature has been between 11-14° as it’s up in the attic. Rh was 60-65 in there.
I put it all into grove bags after 5 days with a hygrometer in each one and they all where above 80% so put them back into the drying net for a further two days woth a hygrometer on each tier. The hygrometers were saying between 56-58 so bagged them back up into grove bags all above 80% again ‍ Thanks

You need to get the temp up and keep it out of the bags. You're have a recipe for mold.
Even at 16c my weed takes 8 -10 days to dry enough for jars. Spread it out with some air circulation.

Weigh one big bud daily to see weight loss.

Leave the buds out of the bags and be patient. Rushing things will only make the end result shittier.

ihave tried everything I have no spare heater and weather is cold at the moment so all my equipment is in with my other grow going. I’ll try my best thanks for the help

thank you I’ll put it back to dry. Also is it normal to smell like hay? Thanks

Hay smell is not unusual and will go away curing if properly dried. When it stops losing weight is when its ready to cure. A 50g flower will lose 25% in the first day at 60°/60%, then slowly lose another 50% in the next five or six days, down to 10-20g dried for jarring.

I myself am at 55-57% / 14-15°c and have been drying for 12 days now. You can't be impatient at this step.

ah ok thanks for that I thought it was all toast man smelling like hay. Ok thank you I’ll weigh it from time to time.

Ok thanks only reason I took it out and put in bags was the hygrometer I’m the tent was saying 56%
