Drying, Curing - When to trim and separate plant into branches.

I just harvested my first plant branch by branch. I removed a branch trimmed it and then hung it up to dry.

My plan is now in 3-4 dozen branches. I've read in a few spots that they recommend hanging the whole plant upside down immediately upon harvest with no trimming.

Any opinions on when to trim the plant and the pros/cons on cutting it into branches as opposed to drying the entire plant whole?

You've done the right thing. Now let it dry well and move to curing.
