about the "cold water" - it reduces the water matrix potential and then roots have a harder time drinking. (but only temporarily as the pot will warm again.) so it may cause some short-termed drought stress which has been proven to increase cannabinoid content. however, this is certainly not set-in-stone as this stress calls for a response that can also be initiated by UV/photodamage (among others) do, so depending on the situation drought may not do a thing

Interesting. Stressing plants is also one method of getting a fem to herm in order to produce fem seeds. It probably wouldn't be nearly enough stress to make a hermie would it?

to be fair I'm the wrong guy to get info on rodelization. this fem x fem incestuous breeding may cause genetic weaknesses, (though it happens in nature as well as a last resort....)
but when it comes to torture, you can be creative! also think of electro-culture :mrgreen:
