Drying question from a newb

I just cut all the buds off my plants and didn't keep them on the stems. I saw some keep them in dark places with fans to dry. Im an inside grower and i was wondering if i could lay them on paper towel under my grow light if that could dry them alright? Then do the whole jar thing to cure them?

Whats everyone think since i kinda screwed up on the hang the branches upside down thing?

Please help!

if you have already cut the buds from the stems you need to lay them out on paper or a tray in a dark dry place to dry. should take a week or two.
