Drying!

First plant I have ever grown is close to been harvested! Yay,...
It was an outside grow, any tips on the drying process? Do I just hang it on a coat hanger for a few days?

Depending on what you want. You need to keep it in an area without high humidity, have air flow around it but not have fans directly on it. You can cut and hang whole plant or take off branches to hand individually. You can wet or dry trim, depends on your preference. You could also buy something like a weedryer which will help keep the smell down.

I personally wet trim, cut branches and hang on coat hangers in a dry dark room.

As long as the temps and humidity are not too high that should be fine. I would install a fan for some air movement. Ending up with mold after months growing can be heart breaking. I wish you luck.

I would just skip the last watering and chop at the end of the dark period. It is good to get the plants before they wake up so to speak so for example if you water every day skip today and cut tomorrow morning before the sun comes up. During darkness the plant stores starches in its roots, during the day when light is on, they are drawn up into the plant. Harvesting just before lights on minimizes the amount of starches in the plant at the time of harvest.

I wet trim all the big stuff and then hang the whole plant as a whole in dark dry cool place for 10 days wohooo

I do

Wet trim equals a faster dry than dry trim as well as less of a chance of molding.

However drying to fast can take good weed and turn it into meh weed.

If you dont have an elaborate drying room I suggest finding out what your avg RH in your city is and figuring out if you can wet trim and still get at least 7-10 day dry. If not you will want to leave some fan leaves on.

For example where I live avg RH is 45% I fall into a category of trim fan leaves but leave sugar leaves for dry trim.
