So Sunday morning I got up early before my lights kicked on and chopped my Sweet Tooth x Gorilla Glue. She smells good and very sticky. I made a dry room out of my closet. Got 5 branches per cloths hanger and my Temps average 66-68 and 48-55 RH. Sometimes the Temps reach 70 but it's not a long period. I have a fan about 2-3 feet under neath trimmings on low facing the wall and it stay completely dark. Going to try and dry for 2 weeks! 20210801_102155.jpg20210801_093235.jpg

IDK I have never had a plant take two weeks to dry. I read that slow dry makes them more potent? Anyway..I dry in a closet as well sometimes and with a fan running under them like that they will dry in just 5-6 days. I recommend loosing the fan and only running it if your rh gets above 60%. I dry massive 2 foot colas dense as rocks in 7-10 days with no fan. Im sure my potency stays intact. I usually hang for seven days, trim, then let the flowers lay out another day or two till they are just right and ready for the jars.

Awesome man I will have my wife cut the fan um at work, and what do you consider ready for the jar? When the bud snaps of the main branch or what?

I always dry around 70 or less. And 10-14 days is right for 2-3 oz harvest. If kept on stem. Never had an issue. I follow that dry and cure guide on here by fd I believe Have been for years.

Yes I have it on the lowest setting aimed at the wall just for some circulation. And my Temps and RH is good right 50-55 percent?

50-55% is to low to start drying IMO. You need an enclosed environment with a controlled exhaust to dial in RH for optimal drying.

I start at 70% and if I'm below 55% in less than a week I've basically fucked up the process by drying to fast.

So I can put the 62% packs in my jar right when I'm ready to cure and let sit for 24 hours and start burping 2 times a day?

As long as your bud is ready for it. And personally I don’t burp if I’m at 62% and holding. Only burp when it starts to rise.
Not being an ass. Did you read that thread? That shits pretty spot on.

For sure man, I will do. I just hung it yesturday morning. I'm sure it's going to take atleast 8-10 days to dry. And I will trim it up and take some pics as it goes in the jar and will make an update. Have a good day!

I don't mean to hijack your post. If I'm doing this wrong please let me know. This is my drying dilemma. I can't really get down to 60% humidity and maintain it. I am in a tropical climate. It's either Outdoors or in the garage. What should I do?
