Duel problem. Yellowing of lower canopy and top canopy leaves problem

Please help me. All the guides say these symptoms could be like 5 different problems. Can anyone help teach me? Like "Brown leaf tips curling up = "insert problem" Here is a website that shows an example " _____ Insert website______"

Either way, + rep is always a reward.

Problem # 1 Yellowing of the lower leaves - I am just adding this in to give everyone info on the plant. I think that I have solved this problem by knowing I have to add in more CFL's for the lower canopy. No diagnoses is needed for this problem.

Problem #2 New growth and canopy leaves have this problem. See pictures below. Mostly curling tip and slighty brown edges. A few leaves have large noticeably brown edges.

24 hours light regiment with 6 cfl's 6,000K lumens
TEmp - 78 to 80 constantly
humidity = moderate at 40 to 60 percent

Nutes, liquid stuff 8-4-4- that I add in every other watering.

Plant is in miracle grow soil since Nov 1st.

On 1/22/11 I had yellowing and a tad low ph so I....
flushed with 3 times the amount of water vs the soil amount. 7.6 in and 7.0 runoff.
Then I gave her a 1/2 dose (8 ML) mixture of the 8-4-4 liquid stuff. 7.4ph in and 7.0 runoff out.

I think your ph is off...I'm not a soil guy sorry...you could try lowering the ph of your water to 6.0 and flush it see if the run off lowers to something like 6.5 the high end of nutrient uptake...but someone else with more experience with soil will help...good growing

Wait what!?! How could lowering the water ph raise the soil ph? ??? TYPO ?? If I have 7.6 water going in and 7.0 runoff, wouldn't the ph of the soil be about 6.4?

Ok follow me your water is dropping to 7.0 ok when I used to run soil I'd pour my water through and little to no ph shift would happen. What happens when you pour basic water through rich soil is leaching it means that the water is pulling the nutrients out of the soil that's why the ph is dropping so much. The water you are using is 10x less acidic than the soil so lower the water ph to 6.5 and test it. I hope this helps

I'm having very similar problems with my citral that's about 25 days into flower. Leaves have similar brown curl, as well as new top growth having holes in it like bugs are eating it. There is no insect problem so I'm not sure what it is. Soil is very nitrogen rich. Possibly Ph issue soil from my other plant had a Ph around 5.5... very low. Ill post some pics in a little when I get a chance.
