Dutch Passion Brainstorm Smoke report

My scale = 1 = ditch weed that gives you a headache. 5 = regular herb..gets you stoned...but not very and no smell, bland or harsh taste. 10 = dankest shiite ever.

Strain: Dutch Passion Brainstorm

Growth: Great. Aggressive growth in the first 1/2 of flowering...somewhere between doubles and triples it's size. Doesn't stop growing until late in flower.

Nutes: VEG: blood meal and molasses. FLOWER: mg 15 - 30 - 15 and bat guano. Flushed for 10 days.

Yield: 2 oz. on the dot. Vegged with cfl...started flower with cfl...last month of flower I got/used a 250 watt hps.

Bag Appeal: 7. No seeds, all bud.

Smell: 7 in bag...8 in jar. In jar smells very floral. lemony might come to mind...but floral is a "better" description imo.
Taste: 8. Floral. It's just like it smells. The smoke you blow out...smells great. Not even "pot" like...more like a light floral incense. (I hope that I've said floral enough...because dagnabit it's "it"
The High: 7. It's not one hit weed...which is actually good for me. I like smoking. Especially when it has a nice flavor like this. More in your attitude than your body. You feel happy and somewhat energetic...but not at all "speedy" The body just gets a nice light relaxing feeling to it. Not RELAXED (couchlock) but relaxed...ya dig?

Comments: I like the strain. It took abuse like a pr0nstar...and delivered the goods. Prefers lower light oddly enough. When I switched to a 250 watt hps...it worked best when a good 2' off the top of the plant. Any closer and the Brainstorm didn't like it one bit. You ABSOLUTEY could grow this plant from start to finish with CFLS. It'd be very happy. Ready in 60 days of flower.

Oh before I forget...VERY LOW ODOR IN GROWTH/FLOWERING. STEALTHY AS COULD POSSIBLY BE.

thanks for this report, i don't recall seeing a smoke report on this strain
i do keep a look out for the non racy strains that are not too much on the couch effect

Sounds spot on in every way, I will be getting some of these for my next round. Thanks for the report, it's a rare strain to hear about. Any more on the high, does it get you thinking at all or just happy heady? +Rep

thx for the rep. Yeah I HAD to make a smoke report...because well as you said...nobody is really talking about it. (which is a shame as it's what so many personal growers are asking for...weed with flavor, good high and little to no odor in growth/flower) It's a thinking/happy weed. Little of both. Absolutely a "functional" high. I'd rather this got passed around at a party than a strong blueberry which to me is stone cold couchlock.

This used to be called Isis before they changed the name. It was average then and it still average now. I got good yields but an o.k high. Too many other interesting things out there to grow to waste much time on this one......

Well your input is wrong. It USED to be called HEMPSTAR. Isis is a completely different strain.

Isis is a different strain using DPs average Skunk line, however the Haze parent involved is possibly the same. Brainstorms genetics are Haze x Northern Lights #5, a cross which is reported as one of the very best when purchased from Sensi seeds.

Cheers for the reply, i'll head over to pick n mix for a few. It sounds good for a stealth CFL box

Your right. My mistake under a smoke haze. Still an average product. That's why they changed the name- to try to create more interest in a strain that's tired and old!

A) Talk about a strain that you've actually smoked. B) You are degrading all marijuana with your attitude. I look at weed like other people look at wine. Newer is not a guarantee of better... There are many aspects to weed
besides strength...though if you bothered to read anything about this strain that you dismiss...you'd of read that it is potentially a 20% THC strain. 10 years ago...or today...20% is not weak or even "average" I have had stronger weed than this...
hell I grew out AK48 twice...it is absolutely stronger...and yet I prefer Brainstorm. Better flavor, better smell, and very low odor in growth. AK48 made my whole house smell like an exhaled 6' bong...the entire fucking grow. Plus AK48 can get "racy" whereas Brainstorm is a "smooth head high"

Well, I have tried both . I agree with some of what you say- it is low odor, and it does have that "heady high"........ But, I stand by my original opinion- there is much better out there and it's of average potency. THC Percentages quoted by breeders are meaningless- unless they show you the actual tested results sheet (which they won't). Come on, you should know better. Then throw in the hermy problem that often happens with Dutch Passion fems and I'll pass. Stronger isn't always better, thats for sure!

Thanks for the report, getting me excited!

picked up 5 fem today fo £13 cant argue with that :)

reppin a CFL stealth box too, so that CFL info is good news
