I have purchased the SH bubbleponic system myself and currently have 3 beauties in their 3 week of flowering and things are looking awesome...I havnt encountered any other problems outside the ones that were discussed in the old thread created by Roseman. All in all I love the bubbleponics unit.

ok well i bought the SH system and new nothing about hydro. I didnt even entertain that I could grow hydro cuz to people who are not in the "know" they think its some highly complicated high tech thing like I did.

I ended up wasting a lot of money on the SH system and extra CFLS till I realized the following:

u need an HPS to do it right

and the SH system puts 6 plants like 1" or 2" apart from each other and that doesnt work way too close

so I got an HPS and a nice like 3' wide res thats about 7" deep fits 17gals for my 6 plants and that gives them enough room to grow 5'.

but one thing is true if you want a very automated system thats convinet you should have the water pump pumping directly to the roots cuz then you can clone or put seeds right in your main hydro res and the roots come out super fast and its fully automated. so if you had the choice to get a DWC system for free or a Bubbleponics for free I think most would choose the bubble ponics

in my first grow I didnt notice that the water tube feeding one of my 2" seedlings was clogged up for a day or two. and that plant ended up being like 1 foot shorter than all the other plants I had just because of this day or 2 with poor water flow going to her roots. the other plants ended up getting to about 5' before the god damn molassass blog paid me a visit!! but the stunted one was like only 4'

anyway my new babies have been growing 2" a day from clone no lie. at this rate I will achive 1 foot by day 7 or 8 and will be ready to flower.

but I might flower sooner cuz I flowered before at like 16" and my plants were already 5' + by the fourth week of flower!!!! but Im guessin its the strain cuz im using Nirvana Big Bud.

This is my first post here I believe, but what kind of lighting system were you employing for your SH system? I'm new to hydroponics myself so I'm not judging any ones statements, but if there is a deficiency in the spacing on the SH system might they that not be because as Roseman stated they were intended for herbs and vegetables, and just happen to in Roseman's opinion make an excellent set up for cannabis?
