Is DWC a good hydro method for a newbie? What are the benefits and potential problems?

Well, you need to have a decent setup for it to be effective (its actually pretty easy of you have any sort of technical know how). But its a 50/50 thing, some people say its not for beginners, and others say it is.

Crop failure, but thats a given with all methods, I just think its easier to screw up with DWC, especially if you have to worry about power outages and such.

yeah but you ahve to worry about power outages if growing indoors anyway.

Indeed lol. Though how long could hydro go without power before it seriously effected the plants health?
