Dwc issues, Need some help

Hey guys ,

It’s my first dwc grow and I’m not sure what’s going on. I’ve sprayed it with a rosemary/clove oil/soybean oil mix and added rhino skin to hopefully help get the plant strong enough to fight it off. The pictures spots in the pics are speeding to more stalks but the roots look clean… any advice or help would be greatly appreciated !

I think there is a fungal/bacteria issue going on , you can see something on the leaves in the pictures, and it’s slowing spreading … was told by my hydro guy the spray is safe for the overall plant . I’m using rhino skin and uc roots as well …hoping the rhino skin will make the plant strong enough to fight off whatever issue it’s having by itself

Appreciate it bud , I just did a re-feeding with more nutes bc my levels were a little low in comparison to my feeding chart. My main concern was that this is a mold/mildew/fungus issue. Im checking daily and my ph is around 5.75-5.90

I’ve had them around 1.3-1.6 .My feeding program says keep it around 2.5-3 … I was nervous that that was way too high so I kept it a little low . I just feed them again today and brought it up . I’m on the Athena pro line feeding schedule

I concur with the others that you're not dealing with fungus or anything else...

Keeping EC and pH within a very narrow range, or no changes, between readings other than nutrient level is the goal...

What strain are you growing...??? Autoflowers like lower EC's...

What about air temp and RH // VPD?

What do you have for fans in the room//what about airflow/

What about the reservoir? I'm not quite clear on your setup but good info would be how big are the buckets, how often do you change the res, how do you replenish nutes in the res?

Glad to hear , I was thinking it was bc it’s all over different spots on plant and is spreading. My ec and ph have been pretty consistent, I’ve been monitoring it daily.

My Ph has been bt 5.7-5.9 and ec was a little lower than normal at around 1.2-1.5. The strain is Pink Runts and is indeed an auto .I Appreciate the help

My air temp is bt 67-78 Fahrenheit, and vpd has been around 1. I have it in a 3x3 tent that’s climate and humidity controlled.

There is an airstone in the Plant bucket and a pump in the res to circulate the water. I pump out the nutrients from both , clean res, and then put in new pre mixed nutrients. Checking ph and ec before adding back in ..

I only see a couple of 'spots' out of all 3 pics and they look like water damage from spraying stuff you probably shouldn't on those plants.

They are getting along in flower and lots plants show some leaf issues here and there as the end draws nearer.

Some very dilute silicate is all I'd spray that late in flower and only if I had a very obvious PM or fungal attack going on.

What do the leaves look like on the underside of the spots? Most fungal or mildew problems start under there where it is moister. And there's usually visible webbing or fuzzy shit happening.

Ok, I only sprayed it once but I did stop after that. I used a rosemary, clove , and soybean oil spray suggested by a buddy who works at a local hydro store by me . The underneath of the leves did show anything that you had mentioned, seemed like the spots were just on the tops of the leaves

I managed to get rid of the issue by eliminating simple options and got to the feeding and the light. Once I adjusted both of those, it seemed liked it did the job . She’s going pretty strong as of today…. Appreciate it bud

Those colas look pretty good man. There's bound to be more funky looking leaves as she gets closer to the end so don't start throwing things at her to try fixing what is most likely just natural senescence as the plant nears the end of life.

More plants die from excess tender loving care than neglect.
