What's up fellow Dwc'rs.

Just looking to get some opinions on my grow.

I started this little gal on March 16th.
The setup is pretty simple, consisting of a 10G fish tank, some aquarium air pumps, Air Curtains, Some shelving, and a 400W HPS/MH Ballast assembly.

Environment:
Temps:
Grow room 70F - 80F
Res 75F - 80F

PH/PPM:
PH ????? (No ph meter yet, kinda poor  )
PPM ????? (No ppm meter yet, kinda poor  )

Lighting:
400W HPS ballast w/MH Conversion bulb (The reason I am poor, but worth it :-P )

Growing Medium:
Rapid Rooter Plugs & Hydroton

Nutes:
Foxfarm Grow & Bloom

Strain:
Medusa Fem (from seed)

Over all the plant is doing very well. I have been having some issues with heat recently due to my unpreparedness for the extra heat a HID setup can produce.

I know a lot of you may slap me for not having a ph or ppm meter, but when you’re working with a shoe-string budget; you take what you can get. I am however planning on purchasing a ph meter very soon as I have calculated the price into my budget for the next couple of weeks.

The PPM meter will come shortly after that.

Any comments or questions are welcome, and please be honest. I am very interested in the opinions of the RIU population. Some of the best grows I have ever seen have come from these forums.

i would try to keep your res between 60-70 anything over that and the water has a hard time retaining oxygen..

Yeah, ever since I got the new Ballast setup, Temperatures have been high. I am in the process of trying to figure out how I can effectivly cool my res. So far I have come up empty. Mostly due to money issues.

Does any one have any ideas?
