DWC NUTE LOCKOUT HELP

Totally your call. These plants are resilient AF but I would personally be concerned with the exposure to the paint chemicals.

If you got nothing to lose and time to kill, switch buckets, only using fresh water and no nutes for at least a few days to try and get any shit out of the plants.

Hydroguard is a great suggestion and will help with root rot. "Help" not a complete solution.

What are your water temps normally? What do they spike to where you need to use frozen water bottles?

I also 2nd that PH swings is an issue. Test PH at least twice a day for few days to see if PH is swinging and how much if it is.

Or switch to coco lol.
I'm invested in hydro at this point I'm not trying to spend too much more lol. But yeah my ph hasnt really bounced up or down nothing too crazy the whole grow. I usually keep it inbetween the 5.5-6.5 range. Water temps when it gets hot is usually 75-80. Air temp when it gets its hottest is like 85 but for the past 2 weeks I've been monitoring and taking care of the both HEAVY. So air temp usually sits around 77 and water temp at like 68-70. RH isn't really much of an issue anymore I've got a good humidifier that keeps it in that 60-75 range

24" for the light

And re evaluate everything
And save that bitch till u get seeds

Write down everything we have said, we all seem to say the same things

Test yer water ppm and pH
Correct nutes ratio and mix order. Wait 5-10min between each to incorporate, stirring a few times
Always silica 1st, but yer not using it
Calmag
The DARK BROWN GH micro
Then all the rest
Get hydroguard ditch h202
Monitor pH every few hours to see if it's buffered by yer tap water
Water 2" below net pot

Probably more but u get the idea
My bad I meant to say my lights been at 24" for about 3 weeks now. Thanks for that nute tip that's the first I'm hearing that one

I live on the surface of the sun

Ambient house temp is 76-79, so my water temp is usually that

Hydroguard and z7 have never failed me with those water temps

I did DWC for years. I really liked how fast the plants grew. I just got tired of it. Air pumps and stones. Have to plug things in, etc... I never had any issues with roots but I just used a few drops of Clorox bleach in the buckets every few days. I'll probably get slammed but it worked. I never got root rot. Plants were always healthy and lush. I mainly kept mothers in DWC to take clones from to put into flood and drain but I used bleach in my other reservoirs as well.

I still have a bunch of net pots and black buckets.

I'm gonna go get some black buckets from home depot when I get off work. I've got hydroguard that comes in tomorrow but yeah I've invested too much in dwc to give up now lol

So I'm going to get some real black buckets in a couple hours. So after I have those, I've got good good bubbles going in my bucket(looks like it's boiling) and I feed hydroguard and nutes correctly do you think I can bounce back from where I'm at? And if so how long and what kinda yield can i expect because I went into this grow hoping for 4 oz.

H202 kills anything beneficial. U hardly have roots, so stop that

How far below the net pot is the water
How often u change and clean the rezz

Use this schedule, they are never all the same at any point except seedling. Start at week two at about 2/3 strength or so and get some CalmagView attachment 4617995
So for a 5 gal res I would mutiy all the recommended doses by 2/3 and then multiply that number by 5 correct?

A little over 1/3 of the way filled with water and I figured since I'm on week 8 of veg she could take the nutes. Im currently feeding to 300 ppm of nutes as that's what someone told me the remedy was. They said feed to 300 ppm and ph to 5.7. Let the pH rise and the ppms should drop as the pH rises over a couple days. Hydroguard arrives tomorrow. I was thinking of adding some H202 to deal with the roots for now. Oh and it's tap water
That's what I'd tell you to do mate.
300ppm
Ph5.7 and let it rise to 6.3
Use h202 untill the hydroguard arrives. Clean the roots before adding the hg though cos the h202 will kill it.
