Wow. Healthy looking roots! Nice Lst job on the PW. And I am loving all the different crosses :) Very well done SR.
Thanks Bill. Looks like I'm going to use the HKxAK males to hit the HKxAK female, a NL and some of my LRs for even more crosses and to get some more HKxAK seeds.

Well Done SR, ladies look healthy. :weed:
They are starting to smell healthy too. lol

Wow, they really blew up didnt they? Roots look great too!!! Keep it up!
Yeah, since flipping lights on them...they have started picking up size.

I'm going to fix that (the avvie) very soon. As in today! LOL. That's awesome that you are hitting the Jack and G-13 too.

LOL. I'm not sure if it is the NL or the PW. But one of those two is giving off a major grape (think hubba bubba grape gum) scent. Hard to tell which since they are in the same dwc bucket and blended into each other. That's something I am going to look at fixing in the next few days. All the LRs have sprouted and are under CFLs veging. The clone cuttings of PW and NL have both developed roots. A few more days and I'll move them under the T5s as well.

Hi Silent,

This is cool. I have been considering either soil or dwc for a grow in my cab.
I have always felt the plants would veg faster but flower at the same rate.

What is your opinion on this?

Too soon for me to tell right now. So far the veg rate was mixed. I'm running autos and normal. The autos seemed to veg at only a slightly faster rate. The PW and NL veg'ed mad fast. Even with topping and lst'ing I didn't notice hardly any slow down. I just flipped to flowering about 5 days ago and the PW and NL exploded. But I've got nothing to compare them to as I haven't grown them before. Now the NL I have in soil hasn't preformed anywhere near the NL in dwc. They get the same nute feeding roughly. It just seems that the roots get to take up as much of the nutes as they can in dwc whereas in soil, some has to be lost to runoff and dissipation.

My personal preference is leaning hard to dwc. During veg I only changed the water once every 7-9 days. It didn't even require topping off. In flowering, I've been topping off the res with about 1-2 quarts a day and change out the entire res every 7 days. But it's much less to worry about. No fear of over/under watering. I mix my nutes up at res change and then just top off with un-nuted water for the week. Yeah, I'm rambling. I'll know more about the soil vs dwc for flowering in a week. I will say that my WRxNL in dwc is almost quadruple the size of the one in soil.
