DWC with top feed...

I'm feeding my plant for 30minutes every 5.5hours. But I was wondering since it's got a good air stone and air pump in the rez if I could go up to 5 or 6 30minute feedings a day??? Using a 66GPH pump and a .25" Toro drip irrigation kit. Not using the emiters, just the tube. Growing in a 4" Rockwool cube, Rapid Rooter plug and Hydroton.

it could run 24/7 man. The extra dissolved oxygen you get from drip system falling into the bucket will keep plenty of 02 in your res

Until i get my 4 place power strip, I got the little one on 24/7 and the bigger one on 30minz on 2.5 hours off. I'll probably run all four nute pumps like that.

Next time I start from a seed I will water once a day for 30 minutes before the lights come on. When a few roots pop out the bottom the yop feed be removed.

Budd u honestly dont need to top feed man its what got u into the trouble ur haveing now. The bubbles in the buckets are going to create and push plenty enuff humidity and food up into the rock that will be entirely sufficient enuff. To be perfectly honest seedlings dont really like much water and i see it as a top problem alot of growers have rite from the start. I have grown 3 foot tall plants in just 3 weeks in just a bucket of water some food and an air pump n stone. Trick is just keep the rock moist. This will keep the wool plenty moist enuff. Id recommend getting the rapid rooters before the wool to anyone tho its almost like they where made for this system. Allow ur roots to grow into the water. Keep things proper let them rip and reap the benefits man. Really all the extra gadgets are not needed and will only more complicate the simplicity of growing this DWC.
Much luck anyway man.

No more top feed, I'll replace the lids for the next grow and put a plug in the top feed holes now. This way the only way out for the air is through the hydroton. I seen the moisture all over and realized the moist air was good enough for root life. Thanks for all the advice.
