1.5ml of dynagro grow and 1m of what?
where did u get "3.875"? a gallon?

i now know how to calculate npk thank u:mrgreen:
edit: lucas formula with gh micro/bloom ratio is 7.9-11.9-11.1 , correct? 6ml/9ml 5-0-1micro/0-5-4bloom
haha to be honest I don't remember what I was doing when I added up those numbers but I think I shoudl correct myself because I think I listed the NPK of H&G as 11-7-18 which is not true it is half that... 5.5-3.5-9
So to get that NPK I listed I would have to double the amount of H&G.

the way I add my NPK's up is fairly rough but it does the trick. All that really matters is the ratio, I'm not looking at quantity at all, just the ratio of the elements relative to each other.

"7.9-11.9-11.1 , correct? 6ml/9ml 5-0-1micro/0-5-4bloom"

That looks right to me but I didnt use a calculator to check.

Once you know what ratio of base nutes will yield what ratio of NPK you just adjust the concentration using an EC meter and water. I'm pretty lazy when it comes to mixing nutrients but I've found premixing nutrients at max strength and then diluting as needed with water is the easiest way to mix nutes

rockin with dynagro , just took these , today is day 36 of 12\12 and yesterday i fed with 6 ml dynagro liquid bloom and 2 ml dynagro foliage pro per gal .DSC02965.jpgDSC02998.jpgDSC02993.jpgDSC02992.jpgDSC02975.jpgDSC02973.jpgDSC02971.jpgDSC02970.jpgDSC02969.jpg.DSC02967.jpgDSC02989.jpgDSC02988.jpgDSC02985.jpgDSC02984.jpgDSC02983.jpgDSC02982.jpgDSC02981.jpgDSC02980.jpgDSC02979.jpgDSC02977.jpgDSC02976.jpgDSC02996.jpgDSC02995.jpgDSC03000.jpgDSC02999.jpg sorry so many pics but i wanted different angles and i remember before i had any growing i always wanted to see new pics.

Thanx for that, you bumped me up over 1200.

in a dwc iv only vegged once with DG. A purp, it was huge, really fast. massive stalk size for the time i kept it. ended up giving it away. sometimes you just run out of space ya know.

so this BB is gonna have roughly 3-4 weeks flower on DG. I really wish I had been able to find the floralicious+ locally. And I didnt realize how pricey it is. im also moving in a couple weeks, so timing is very critical right now.

SO as soon as I can, im gonna try and do a 3 way grow off. DG,Xnutes,AN. it will be cuttings off the same mommy, I will try to select the 3 closet to each other in health & root size.

I have just started using Dyna-Gro nutesd on some clones that I have, they have been growing for two weeks in 2 gallon containers filled with Pro-Mix HP. I have given them a regiment of 1.5ml of Dyna -Gro and 2Ml of Protekt, once a week mixed in 1 gallon of spring water. I have noticed some yellowing on the leaves, am I under feeding them? is this a good start with clones? should i feed more than once a week with this regiment?

Whatever was working before, feed at that same ppm/EC with DynaGro.

I am about transition some of my clones to the flowering room. I have been given my clones about 2ml of potekt and 2ml og dyna-grow for about three weeks. how much and for how long should i give my plants the protekt anf grow nutes? and at ml should i start the bloom at?? i have a 9 week strain

Late to the party, but I have links to two articles that describe the effects of lack of Nickel and why it's a REQUIRED NUTRIENT.

http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC1064356/

abstract for the lazy

Soybeans (
Glycine max
[L.] Merr.) grown in Ni-deficient nutrient solutions accumulated toxic urea concentrations which resulted in necrosis of their leaflet tips, a characteristic of Ni deficiency. Estimates of the Ni requirement of a plant were made by using seeds produced with different initial Ni contents. When compared to soybeans grown from seeds containing 2.5 nanograms Ni, plants grown from seeds containing 13 nanograms Ni had a significantly reduced incidence of leaflet tip necrosis. Plants grown from seeds containing 160 nanograms Ni produced leaves with almost no leaflet tip necrosis symptoms. Neither Al, Cd, Sn, nor V were able to substitute for Ni.

http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC1054342/

Nickel was established as an essential micronutrient for the growth of temperate cereal crops. Grain from barley (
Hordeum vulgare
L. cv `Onda'; containing 40 to 80 nanograms of Ni per gram dry weight) grown in solution culture with negligible Ni concentrations (< 30 nanograms of Ni per liter) exhibited greatly reduced germination rates (
i.e.
50% less than grain from Ni-adequate plants) and seedling vigor of the viable grain was greatly depressed. Grain containing less than 30 nanograms per gram dry weight was inviable. Under Ni-deficient conditions, barley plants fail to produce viable grain because of a disruption of the maternal plant's normal grain-filling and maturation processes that occur following formation of the grain embryo. The observations that (a) barley plants fail to complete their life cycle in the absence of Ni and (b) addition of Ni to the growth medium completely alleviates deficiency symptoms in the maternal plants satisfies the essentiality criteria; thus, Ni should be considered a micronutrient for cereals. Because Ni is required by legumes, and is now established as essential for cereals, we conclude that Ni should be added to the list of micronutrients essential for all higher plant growth.

Therefore based on these results, Dyna-Gro is the most advanced nutrient company on the Earth for including Nickel in their formula where others are light years behind, I've known this for awhile in my own research but since I saw your comparison threads I had to post this.

I'm switching from Lucas MaxiBloom to Dyna-Gro Bloom and never looking back, the science is there, the other companies are slacking.

Can anyone suggest a good start off into flowering with dyna bloom nutes? what ml i should start with? how much and for how long i should use protekt and grow nutes??

I like 1 1/2 - 2 ml of protekt, 2 ml of bloom, 1 ml grow / per gallon of watter, ph 5.8- 6.2 is what i shoot for. I use protek through the entire grow. in a soil-less mix. recently been playing around with a DWC, still using the same amounts and its seems to be working fine.

My recipe is as follows:

20 gallons of R.O. water
100ml of Pro Tekt
50ml Mag Pro
100ml Foliage Pro.....or 100ml Grow

I switch from FP to Grow after the 3rd week of 12/12. Bloom is a bit weaker in concentration than the two grow foods, so I would use 125ml of Bloom if I used it (I flower with Grow as it has more nitrogen.)

Wow what a great thread. tons of useful information. Thank you for posting those articles on the Nickel too, good find!

Know what? Dynagro is fucking AWESOME. Not 'good for the price', or a 'good value', it's fucking awesome, and isn't any worse than anything that costs any more.

I'd put Dynagro against anything - not in a side-by-side done by AN, or by some guy who can't even adjust the PH, but in the hands of someone who actually knows how to grow.

Just sucks AN and GH make all the money (not that DG doesn't, but they are better about it)

To be fair, I'm basing this off my buddies feeding system, which also includes stuff like SuperThrive, Cannazyme, Hydrozyme, ect. No other base nutes or bloom boosters though.
I am a believer too..

I used the low range on the feeding chart, came out to 5.5 and 930 PPM, as an update, I've never seen my clones sprout flowering sites this fast, Nickel is essential, without it you're disrupting unknown amount of biological processes. The research doesn't even exist on what you're damaging.

Wow above AWESOME ROOTS MAN, that's ROOT PORN right there imagine them POM POMS in AERO
