Early/mid 2000s Sour & Chem hunt

Ive been blessed by a good friend with a bunch of different sour n sour crosses. Everything from Rezdog to katsu n more. I miss nothing more than that sour from 20 years ago. I'm on a mission and have all of these. All opinions are welcome. Obviously the Rez Sour IBL is a no brainer but am also very curious about these new era genetics that he's released as well. Thank you all in advance!

Im a sour fanatic as well. I’m currently have Notso, Albany, and Skunktek(not sure what cut his is) cuts. I’m looking to collect some cuts and do a Sour Vs Sour. See who comes out on top and what reminds me the most of the strain I absolutely love.

I have had a couple people tell me that the Rez Sour is their fav. I’m going to try and add that to my competition. The only place I know of a verified cut wants 1k and I’m not ready to do that(but I would if I had to).

What Skunktek pack is that? I’m vegging out 20 Sowabunga now. How many packs are you going to run at first? I’d love to see how ur run goes
 
I got the Sowabunga(SDxMandelbrot's 707 headband) I do also have some plain bag labeled sowahh x sowahh & a maraschino x sowahh. Theres also these that I'm excited to check out as well. I'm planning on growing out almost everything and gona just take it slow and steady. I have a space that I decided I wanted to get back hands on again. Always said only way I'd do it would be to find those gems from when I was growing up. Been in Cali for 20 years only seen real sour a few very very rare times

My old account from years ago was Bicoastal. I checked there's still photos from the 4 or 6 lighter in my garage.
 
I think I ran that around 2016/7. Was it reserva privada DNA? From what I remember we ran it to live resin but tasted incredible but bag appeal was lacking
 
I'm really looking for that Sour/chem that was all over NYC early/mid 2000s. A 1/8 you could smell a block away! Would love a real piff haze but not trying to step on any toes. I'm doing this now solely with goal of finding and sharing the flower that drove me to start growing n move across country 20 years ago. I'm blessed I got a spot w size that's all set up n I'm not tripping on profitability. This is all about hopefully finding pieces of history and legacy n sharing it with the people. When shit went legal n all the fucks in suits got involved everything turned to purple hybrid cakes n gelatos a bunch of hype inbred bunk. Not fan of any these new candy gas breeds they might look n smell phenomenal but it's no real gas!
 
It's gonna be my second cycle hands on w the Agnetix water cooled LEDs. The guys have been struggling for a minute with bad info from their rep who claims to have all this background/history but looking more like his history is Peruvian marching powder! Definitely would love to hear any insight from anyone who's got hands on experience w Agnetix lights. Stay blessed
 
With the water-cooling and lack of light heat the VPD and HVAC protocols are def different. I just can't wrap my head around running lights at 20% is only way to avoid foxtailing
 
Shit my bad wrong thread. Although I could use any data possible on these Agnetix lights as I'm planning on using them thru this pheno hunt

Don't be fooled; I live in jersey and have only seen the REAL sour maybe 5 times.....I've seen about 20 imposter's or close but not it's every month though lol
 
Crazy thing about sour is most youngin's would probably bitch about bag appeal if they got some real Sour D or even chem. Thing is once they smelled and puffed on it they wouldn't know what to do with themselves because real sour got you absolutely ripped. I've also seen sour d properly done and still have top notch bag appeal but definitely not the craziest looking compared to some modern strains but who gives a fuck about bag appeal if you're a real smoker.
