earlyest and fastest flowering strain you have seen

what is the fastest flowering and early flowering outdoor/indoor strains you have seen looking for a fast early flowering plant to do a breeding project with if i choose your strain free beans are headed your way once there made

The ruderalis-based hybrids are autoflowering. In other words, they start flowering based on their genetics, rather than based on external light cycles.

The plants are also typically small dwarf plants. Per plant yield won't be much, but they'll finish up really fast.

Lowryder is the most popular of these strains, so much so, that seeds can be hard to find! This plant can go from SEED to finished BUD in as little as 8-9 weeks. There are also a number of variants and hybrids out there you could pick from. Cloning this strain is basically impractical, since the clones will start to autoflower.

So far as I know this is the fastest-completing commercially available strain.

If you want something a little more conventional and with higher yield, AK-47 by reputation is a fast flowering plant. The name partly derives from the ability of the plant to complete flowering in as little as 47 days. Its also pretty darn strong.

Though its probably been around for nearly 20 years already, AK47 is a little bit more of a modern "wonder-strain" being an indica/sativa hybrid.

As more food for thought, some of the pure old-school Afghani-style indica strains finish really fast.

For example Hash plant has Afghani genetics and can be ready in as little as 40-45 days after flowering. Afghani #1 is another pure Indica that also finishes really fast, in only 45-50 days after flowering.

Realistically for any non-auto plant grown from seed, you'd probably need to add another 3-4 weeks there for seed germination and sexual development if you want to count total time since planting.

Lastly, while I certainly wouldn't want to discourage you from breeding (or from sending me seeds! ), before you do so, consider that there are probably hundreds of commercially available strains, and realistically probably at least 2 dozen "classics" that are actually true-breeding with distinct useful phenotypes.

Before you spend 1-2 years in selective breeding and backcrossing, only to re-invent the wheel with your new strain, its probably worthwhile for you to do some research into strains that are currently available.

There are already quite a selection of strains bred specifically for max yield, fastest flowering, max potency, short height, large height, various scents/flavors, max resin (for making hash), and just about every other trait by itself or in combination that growers might be interested in exploiting.

I got ak-47 and bubba kush atm. My bubba takes around 58-60 days to flower and my AK-47 takes around 54-56 days and I like em a bit early usually all cloudy. It won't be done in 47 days don't think you would have any cloudy at that early, prolly still get you high though my AK is some potent shit. I love it

Sounds like you have to cover it after 12 hr or move to autos. Then again you could move inside.

I have special queen. And I have been amazed how good it looks at 7 weeks (from first sign of flowering, not from 12/12).
Ideally it goes 8 weeks and looks spectacular, skinks like crazy, and has a shitton of crystals

i got dinafem blue hash as a freebie from attitude seedbank, they have a solid rep and i'm pretty sure blue hash is still available. i haven't grown mine out yet but its high on the list. attitude is also good with freebies and you can double up if the particular breeder is running a special. dinafem crital jack and moby dick are in the freebies now but don't think they giving out blue hash anymore. hear nothing but good about the strain thou

I just grew some greenomatic autoflowers. 60 days seed to harvest. Great smoke!

I have read in a few places that Pineapple chunk from Barney's is supposed to be super fast. Can anyone verify this?

potency is low its a cash cropping large yeild low ptency strain could be the pheno i had though not all phenos will be the same

pure power is a pretty fast strain 43 - 53 days that is a real frosty bud and decent yields heres day 18 on one of my pp plants a few months back oh i forgot they have a purple power out now got to get me some of that lol and you can start sending me seeds )

Maybe look into next generation seeds, alot of their strains are early finishers and dank as hell.
