Ease of Transplant?? ....Aero To Flood and Drain??

OK so I'm trying to decide if I should return my 8 site aero-cloner. Is it ok for the plants to take the rooted clones out of the aero(with no media) and put them into hydroton in my ebb n flow setup? Does it stress them out too much...or take too long to recover? Please only people with actual experience doing this need reply. No offense I just don't want a lot of "I don't see why not" or "it should" answers. I'm sure it will work....just how well is my question
