Can't believe it's that time of the year finally. This is my first outdoor grow, so go easy on me!

The Plants

I've been carefully researching and selecting the strains I wanted to grow since winter, and I ordered the following seeds from Attitude.(Who by the way, gave great service as usual!)

5 x Super Lemon Haze by Greenhouse Seed Co.
5 x Blueberry Bud by Sagamartha
3 x White Siberian by Dinafem

Then I'm growing out some UFO's.

1 x Reserva Privada Cole Train
1 x Dinafem Critical Jack
1 x DNA Genetics Sharksbreath
1 x DNA Genetics RockLock

** all seeds feminized

I've got them soaking in small plastic cups at the moment and they'll be transplanted into a small Jiffy greenhouse that I picked up at Home Depot.

I've read some pretty good things about starting seedlings out in these little greenhouses.

The Location

I have the neatest little spot to grow at on my own private property, far away from civilization. I've been working on it since mid-December and I affectionately call it "The Grotto." If you look closely at the above pictures you'll see I'm also growing out some Pueraria lobata aka Kudzu. I think this invasive vine will cover up some of the surrounding foliage and give the garden a very surreal feel, if not this season, then the next.

I'm heading out to the Grotto tomorrow to set up some fencing I picked up at Lowe's. I actually spotted this stuff while I had two 50' bales of chicken wire under my arm and was heading to the register. I was dreading spending 50$ on 100' of chicken wire to enclose my area, so you can imagine my surprise when I saw this magnificent set-up for only 12$.

Anyone else use this stuff? In combination with moth balls and a constant human presence I think I'll be pretty safe. I plan on putting a hammock and a few solar lights out there so that me and the girlfriend can spend our evenings out there getting ripped apart by mosquitoes and taking in nature.

You can definitely expect daily updates from this journal, and my camera nut of a girlfriend will be providing excellent macro SLR shots all through the process. I hope you'll subscribe and join me on this epic journey!

They've been in the Jiffy Greenhouse for about 24 hours now.

No signs of life yet, but I'll be sure to post pics when something pops up.

HEADS UP!!! Dont start kudzu. It is super invasive and will choke everything else out. If you have ever been in the deep south, like Mississippi, you se it growing everywhere, and they cant get rid of it. It could relly fuck up your property and your neighbors might be pissed when it started spreading to their land.

That's the point. I've spent summers in North Carolina and <3 Kudzu Tea.

I'm gonna probably invade all of Deep East Texas with the shit, but meh, at least I'll have done something with my life.

For those of you that are wondering, I had to shut this grow down mid-season due to local utility crews snooping around in the woods near my grow.

Can't afford prison! I'm sad that my plants never made it more than a few feet tall.

I just picked up a 600w Lumatek ballast, so DWC Blueberry Bud grow coming very soon!
