Easty's 2014 single plant grow- Mako shark

I just went and checked her over and i can see a few nanners on a couple of the buds, my worst nightmare has come true i'll be picking as many of the nanners as possible. Fuckin digital timers GRRR!!!

That last bud pic looked nice though. Gutted for you man, but, if she doesn't go full blown she should still be nice smoke!

Do you reckon it was light stress? Now I think about it, I have read that blueberry is quite a hermie prone genetic, almost sure I have read that..

Yeah if i get onto it today and get the majority of the nanners it should be ok. Cheers for the sympathy man, i am pretty gutted myself!
Its definitely the light stress mate, the mother is almost finished flowering now and havent seen a nanner on her, shes had some hard stress too just not light stress!
I may also be jumping the gun man you never know.
You are right though, some blueberry strains are known to have hermie issues, ive grown this specific gear of dj's for almost 20 years and have never had one so i'd put it more down to environment!

Yeah man, i got the original beans back in 1995 or 96 and grew the strain extensively for about 9 or 10 years and never had an issue hey. Any plant can hermie under the stress my light has given them, fuck i dont even know what light the plant has even had over the last week
Ive just inspected again this morning and im not entirely convinced they are nanners hey. I had similar looking things on my c99 and they never turned out to be nanners. Im really hoping once i pick them off they wont return. I want to see this girls full potential so wish me luck bro

Hey man I've had late nanners a few times with some of the more sativa or sensitive strains but I've never had any fertile ones.
Cotton candy does this but infertile.

Doesn't a true hermie stop flowering female and starts growing straight balls?.

All depends too mate, she wouldnt be a true hermie if she did, you're right, true hermies have both balls and buds. All weed plants have hermaphroditic tendencies but rarely show them unless there is envrionmental stress. Ive only ever seen 2 hermies in 20 years of growing, one was from seeds i got off a mate and they grew balls and buds straight up and the other was a sativa that i grew outside last year, she grew fat buds all the way through but got stressed due to the weather and threw pollen and seeded the whole plant!

Any way enough rambling. I tried to pick off the nanners and they just crumble, im not convinced they are viable...hope they dont develop!

Did the flush today and added the following nutes:
Bloom A and B- 90mL to 30L
Silica- 20mL
Dr repair-20mL
Swell-75mL
Floralicious plus-2.5mL
La Femme-60mL (heard this may sterilise any pollen)

Im hoping ive dodged a bullet with the nanners too, i picked off the ones i could see and i think the la femme may be working too as no more have surfaced

That plant with the pink through it looks just fine and i am glad to see the mishap with the timer doesn't look to bad

I was fishing at my rock when some local young lads came wondering down with short game rods and massive overhead reels. After catching a 5 or so kilo salmon, they send it back out live and hooked this lovely 9-10 foot bronze whaler!


I got the hook out for them and pushed the big fella back to swim another day! I have just find my new sport

I have also just turned my plants into 12/12. Here is a few pics for ya mate!

From left to right we have two Jack Herrer from sensi, A Space Dawg from sub cool seeds and a free Cotton Candy.
All from seed so i have done no training on them this round.

Heya Chipper, yeah my easter was good mate, fairly busy but still enjoyable! Managed to smash a slab of this new golden ale i found so had a wicked hangover on the monday lol. Looks like you had a ball with the fishing and that bronzey is heaps cool for off the stones!!

Cheers man! Yeah she was frosty as and i reckon i got probably 15-18g under the cfl which is pretty good

Chipper nice plants, I have that cotton candy freebie in the fridge myself. Quite interested in how yours turns out. It says the genetics are

Not goin too bad Shady, i may (touch wood) have prevented a disaster. I picked off all the nanners (there was probably 15 or so) and gave the girl a few sprays with la femme when the lights were on and i havent seen any more pop up. I really hope they dont reappear as im away for a week next week so i dont want any popping open while im away! The buds are looking real nice though mate, frosty as hell and getting quite dense
