Easy Ryder ( Auto Ak47 x LowrRyder#2 fem) hydro/waterfarm

she has been on 18/6, i thought the nutes were a lil high. i have no fresh water here at the moment to change the res n e way, see i thought being an auto she shoulde be in the 200-300 range too but, try and try again ya know... 16 hrs w/ nutes now and no change in her yet. maybe we're good now idk yet.. i have the M/H running 18/6, should i change it to my HPS now that my lil auto has shown sex or whut should i do here,, i wanna wait but if i could mess shit up I'de rather just switch em'...

so i was i lil high on the nutes 438 and i wanted to be below 400, now i am around 320'ish...she started to burn again, i changed the water...this is auto growing 101 for me... this is y i used an auto for my learning plant and ill prolly do one more before i try the Pineapple Express........ i just cant seem to dial the nutes in right...... this is day 26....i woke up today and ound dried crispy leaves that were kinda lush yesterday.....PH is 5.8 and ppm is 322.. whut am i doing wrong.....my nute app is not workin how i thought it would but i am becoming more familiar w/ that and thePH up and down... alot more confident.... but im still

Yo man just added an update to my ish...been having some problems with pH and nutes as well...pretty much lost one of the Vertigos (woke up and she was shriveled), and found root rot/no root devel, and the first set of leaves turned bright yellow. Got Hygrozyme/changed the res and things are back on track somewhat but still having pH problems (won't go down!)

Yours looks a lot better than before though. Whats your method for adjusting pH? Nutes, then check pH, then lower pH (with pH down? and do you measure or just throw some in?), check?

its looking pretty good real.. you were wondering about switching to the hps now as its shown signs of sex.. you can switch now if you'd like, i don't see any problems doing that..
how are you making out with the nute burn?? i think i have heard that autos are very light feeders.. have you tried just running straight ph'ed water for like a week or so and see how they come around?? that is if your still having nute burn issues that is..

and i agree, your gonna learn a shit ton from this grow and all your grows after will surely benefit from the knowledge gained.. keep your head up and try not to be such a perfectionist, lol.. every new grower is gonna have a few issues, but its how you handle them and what you learn from them that makes you a better grower at the end of the day..

OK first off sorry i was gone but i had some spyware issuse......all gone now though...and i had to go outta town.... so Updates huh??? HA HA she is fukin big for hut she is....lot has happened in this last week....so i changed the bulb to HPS.....i know i was told not to trim my dead growth but my girl has itchy trimmin hands...lol so yes the nute burn was an issue there for a while and now it is under control i had to bring the ppm down below 300....done... no more burn.... as far as Ph-ing my water, i add nutes before i raise my ph.. i noticed with the spring water i use i have a starting PH of 6.5-7ish and after the nutes go in each gallon i re-test my PH and only have to raise it up drop by drop.i could use a mL buti would rather drip drop the PH up in...... temp's and rh r under control as well...i cant find my cam right now so i will post pix tonight..... i found out alot from my last issue...i have had to res change twice in one week cause i had a crazy PH spike...and i took my time more so then normal and got it right.........Auto's r very hearty or so it seems. Yeah northern lights is fuckin tastey but i have a ton of other idea before i try that in my lil closet...like maybe some headband(kush) or some Midnite kush....most of all Pineapple Express......ahhhh cant fukin wait......pix tonight...

Ben-Dank........first off i get really good water right from a natural spring Ph is 6.5-7 right from the ground and the ppm is 21.so i start there but i have 3, 1-gallon juggs and i ph each befor i do n e thing and write it down, then i add my nutes....seeing as she is an auto, 1/4 strength, i am on day 33 ph is 5.8 ppm is 288 temp is 72f w/ 27% rh.i have a res thermometer on its way and an air stone.....but yeah take ur time nd do it right.....as for adjusting i do it by the drop...that PH down is really tough stuff... one drop seems like it can tank ur Ph if ur not waiting long enough before addin up or down......good enough? or would you like to know more...????

My lil auto is so awsome..very happy with it... i like the turn around on it but it is fun watching how fast they grow...besta luck

.so here they r, the new pix.....day 34/week 5 doin awsome now, my girl trimmed some dead leaves and yellowed tips off when i was outdoors..but we r doin good now..tell my whut u think...

damn sweet.. i see some of them are starting to flower and shit already too.. auto's are so crazy that way.. they look great.. now look at your main stem, and try and see if you have any alternating nodes yet??? i'm not sure how auto's work, but when regular plants get older and almost ready to flower, you'll get alternating nodes.. even though they are flowering, i was just curious about the nodes on them as i've never grown auto's b4...
they are blowing up for sure..

well i was thinking that the dead leaves or dying leaves were taking away from the rest.. is that ok to assume......she is really happy now.....as long as i keep the nutes under 250ppm.......i hate lookin at it too man

thanx Badger.....i have had a hackerso i have been limiting my usage of my computer just so ya know.....but yeah hps has been in use since last wednesday....i see a hugh difference......

nice.. i grew some of that sour kush, and that shit was fire.. it didn't yield the best, but that was probably my fought for letting the other plant take over the entire grow.. but the smoke was amazing, hit hard right behind the eyes.. good stuff..
i've also grown the sour cream and its a nice smoke as well.. a nice mix of indica and sativa and she yielded awesome.. i'd like to see you grow something other than an auto for your next grow, but that's up to you, lol..
