I'm using a $53 pump from Amazon. Superior Pump 91250 1/4 HP Thermoplastic Submersible Utility Pump with 10-Foot Cord

Jack's will work like a DREAM! I was an Advanced Nutrients fanboy but got tired of the solid materials, gunk in my reservoir, and the cost.

Jack's is CLEAN. CHEAP. And EASY!

I don't. Hydroponic nutes aren't specific to the grow method. RDWC, flood/drain, etc... they are universal.

I'm trying ebb and flow for the first time. Just set up a little DIY system in a small 2x2 tent to test some seeds. Purple Kush in fabric pots filled with coco.

How do you plan on drain the plants?
You will need to watch EC/ppm and pH carefully. Can get away from you, especially in coco.

have you used coco in the bucket system?Used as is? My 4x8 area is unaltered bucket system. My 4x2 area my grow is actually like hydro dogs post up above. Pretty much same system that I use for the 4x2 unless I’m pheno hunting reg seeds.

It has a drain. I plan to dump the res basically weekly and top up with fresh nutes.

This was just a test pic to be sure the plumbing worked. I have a coco mat under the pots now to help with proper drainage.

I know that it might be tricky with coco, but I want to try.
