the easiest thing to do for res changes is to put a 'T' in the water line with a shutoff on each side of it. Use one to flood and drain. When its time to change the res, turn off the one to the table and pump the water out of the res. Its easy to remove the res and clean it when its almost empty. VV:hump:

well I don't know. Today I was accused of being some kid that doesn't know shit. I do have all five tables full and in operation. Just picked up another 2' flouro for a cloning stand I'm working on, have about 3/5# in the bud dryer that will be ready tomorrow, five more plants to harvest and white widow in my hand so I guess I'm getting there. Still need to learn about making hash though. Did you see gk's post about the book. VV:peace:

I use Ionic. Grow and bloom. boost during flowering. Just started Fossil Fuel yesterday and I'm now adding Nitrozime to my foliar feeding. Ive only had all the tables done for a month or so now so I'm just, as sketch mentioned, getting it all tuned in. Watering once a day, rockwool for the medium. Not sold on the rockwool yet. VV

Rockwool holds the water so I only have to flood once a day. Not sold on the
rockwool yet. I was using coco-coir and may go back to it.
I start with 300ppm when I see new growth on clones, bump it up to ec of 1.8 so 1300 to 1400 ppm. It will sometimes drift up a little, usually stays right on when I top off my tanks. I do have an ro system which helps. During flowering I run the same ppm but will let it drift to 2.2ec, 1500ppm. VV

from what i have read coco is good stuff, and renewable.... hash is like riding a bike. bubble bags are around 300usd for the set of five gallon bags, this set gives you like 6 different grades of hash. fdd has a tutorial on oil that is really cool. i made some with him when i was helping harvest. good stuff. i believe in using the whole plant if possible. tanctures, baked goods and butter, ummm

Yes I saw that post. Didn't read it yet cause I wasn't ready. I hadn't been saving any parts or leaves until this harvest. Never felt like it would be enough material to make it worthwhile. I read a couple articles about using the bags. At this point $300.00 would be a waste, maybe a month or two from now it wouldn't. Califonia is a along walk from here. VV

lol. yeah it would be a long walk. if you do decide to start keeping your trim, you can put it in the freezer and it will make it easier to hash since its cooled. collect it over a couple harvests then bam!. fdd said he got the oil extractor and can of butane for less then 50$ and i think we put close to two oz of trim/shake in it. makes alot of hash oil.

I havbe started to keep the trim leaves but not the fan laeves, stem etc. I was saving them before, never did anything with them so I got rid of those. The ones I saving now are from ww plants so I think they will do nicely. I have a chest style freezer in the garage so I will just put them there. Probably won't start processing them until after we get back from the vacation we are planning for the first of January. By then I should have three more harvests so it should be enough to work with, VV

Yes, and A few ice and crystal. Usually topping with the water they have used bring it right back in line before the next watering. The only thing I didn't like about the coco was the fungus knats. I am set up to keep them under control now. I'm trying the rockwool for two reasons. Al B suggest it and my hydro shop doesn't seem to be able to keep it in stock. The recycling is one of the things I liked most about it. We just put mulch and weed block around a lot of our yard and put plants around. The coco after harvesting adds to it nicely. I have heard that rockwool will mix in nicely also, but I don't have to mix in the coco, just act like I'm adding a little more mulch. And the nutes are there for the plants. VV
