Ebb n flow question

I'm planning on doing a ebb n flow in 5 gallon buckets 3 of them was woundering what size Rez I should get ?? Thanx

At least 30 gallon. The bigger the better really though (within reason). Less res changes, less fluctuations. They also help regulate room temperature, especially at lights on/off time. I woulkd also recommend an air pump and stone and/or a powerhead pump. Personally, i run both. In winter i add an aquarium heater.

Thanks bro yea I will have a air stone in the res, ill probly just get one of those 50gallon black Rubbermaid totes everyone use that way I can add on later

Make sure its nice and thick you dont want your res to bust. It really only takes one little weak spot in the mold and swoosh you got 30 gallons of water on the floor. You can go to a horse feed store and get a blue 55 gallon food grade drum usually around 40.00 bucks
